Pengerukan Sedimentasi Sungai Kurau Jadi Prioritas

BANGKA TENGAH,Perkaranews.com – Permasalahan sedimentasi memang bukanlah hal yang asing lagi. Terlebih, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) memang merupakan provinsi kepulauan, yang membuat aktivitas apa pun itu, baik nelayan, pariwisata dan lainnya sangat bergantung dengan kondisi tempat tambatan perahu ataupun dermaga.

Salah satunya, terjadi pendangkalan di Muara Sungai Kurau. Sehingga ini membuat para nelayan dan warga sekitarnya mengadukan langsung kepada Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kep. Babel Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu pada 8 April yang lalu. Untuk itu, sepulang dari Rumah Dinas Bupati Bangka Tengah, dan melipir ke Danau Kaolin, Ia pun meninjau ke daerah TPI Kurau, Kamis (20/4/2023).

Hadir mendampingi langsung di tempat, Kades (Kepala Desa) Kurau Barat Sandi dan Kades Kurau Timur Jasila, beserta beberapa warga Kurau. Mereka menginginkan pengerukan tersebut segera dilaksanakan, mengingat aktivitas nelayan maupun pariwisata menjadi terganggu.

“Intinya nelayan bisa lewat, bisa jalan, Pak. Terserah mau dibuang kemana bekas pengerukan tersebut. Soalnya karena pendangkalan ini, jadinya kami melautnya harus berangkat malam banget bisa jam subuh, pak,” keluh salah satu warga.

Tidak hanya itu, dikatakan oleh Jasila, aktivitas pariwisata pun jadi terganggu akibat sedimentasi. Hal ini, dikarenakan biasanya orang yang ingin ke pulau, pasti berangkatnya tidak mungkin malam atau dini hari.

“Selain nelayan yang mau berangkat melaut yang terganggu karena hal ini, aktivitas pariwisata juga terganggu, karena ada 4 pulau tujuan wisata yang menyebrang lewat Kurau,” ujarnya.

Mendengar hal tersebut, Pj Gubernur Suganda langsung menelepon Kepala Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan (DKP) Kep. Babel Agus Suryadi dan Kepala PUPRPRKP Kep. Babel Jantani Ali, untuk menegaskan agar pengerukan sedimentasi di Muara Sungai Kurau menjadi prioritas pemerintah provinsi, yang harus segera ditangani.

“Tolong prioritas pengerukan di Kurau ini. Nanti kita panggil dinas ESDM, Lingkungan Hidup dan DKP. Selain memang kita perlu memikirkan masyarakat kita, kita juga perlu memikirkan aspek dampak ke lingkungannya juga. Jangan sampai merusak hutan lindung,” ujar Pj Gubernur.

Diketahui administrasi terkait penanganan pengerukan sedimentasi Muara Sungai Kurau ini telah sampai ke Pemerintah Daerah (Pemda) Bangka Tengah. Sehingga, memang pihak masyarakat Kurau tinggal menunggu izin dan pergerakan langsung dari Pemerintah. (R5/RLS)
