BANGKA SELATAN, PERKARANEWS.COM — Untuk meringankan biaya pengobatan masyarakat yang membutuhkan, PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk menyerahkan bantuan biaya pengobatan bagi Rosnah warga Desa Rias, Kabupaten Bangka Selatan.
Bantuan biaya pengobatan dari PT TIMAH ini diharapkan dapat meringankan beban keluarga dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pengobatan yang telah berlangsung selama beberapa waktu.
Rosnah yang kini berusia sekitar 70 tahun diketahui mengalami kondisi kesehatan yang cukup memprihatinkan, sehingga membutuhkan penanganan medis berkelanjutan. Keluarga mengaku kesulitan dalam memenuhi biaya pengobatan, sehingga bantuan dari PT TIMAH menjadi harapan besar bagi mereka.
Anak Rosnah, Darazi, mengungkapkan rasa syukur atas kepedulian PT TIMAH yang telah membantu keluarganya.
Ia menyebutkan bahwa bantuan tersebut sangat berarti dan memberikan keringanan dalam kondisi yang mereka hadapi saat ini.
“Alhamdulillah, kami sangat terbantu sekali dengan bantuan dari PT TIMAH. Ini sangat berarti bagi kami, bahkan bisa dibilang sudah melebihi harapan kami. Terima kasih atas kepeduliannya kepada masyarakat,” ujar Darazi.
Kedepan, Ia berharap PT TIMAH dapat terus peduli kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan, sehingga semakin banyak masyarakat yang terbantu.
Kepala Desa Rias, Muslim, turut menyampaikan apresiasi atas kontribusi PT TIMAH yang selama ini dinilai aktif membantu masyarakat di wilayahnya. Ia menilai, kehadiran PT TIMAH memberikan dampak nyata bagi warga, khususnya dalam membantu masyarakat kurang mampu.
“Saya sebagai pribadi dan Kepala Desa mengucapkan terima kasih. PT TIMAH telah banyak membantu warga kami. Contohnya seperti Ibu Rosnah ini yang sangat terbantu dengan adanya bantuan ini,” kata Muslim.
Menurutnya, selama masa kepemimpinannya, berbagai program bantuan dari PT TIMAH telah dirasakan oleh masyarakat Desa Rias, mulai dari dukungan untuk Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes), pengembangan UMKM, hingga kegiatan kepemudaan dan bantuan sosial bagi masyarakat kurang mampu.
“Kalau kami melihat, PT TIMAH sangat membantu masyarakat dengan berbagai programnya. Tentu ini sangat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh warga kami,” tambahnya.
Muslim berharap ke depan PT TIMAH dapat terus melanjutkan program-program sosial yang telah berjalan, mengingat Desa Rias memiliki jumlah penduduk yang besar dengan beragam kebutuhan sosial.
“Kami berharap bantuan-bantuan seperti ini terus berlanjut, baik untuk masyarakat kurang mampu, kegiatan pemuda, maupun pengembangan UMKM. Karena kebutuhan masyarakat di sini cukup beragam,” harapnya. (Yuko)
