Tim Mawang dari Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) kembali mencatatkan prestasi gemilang di ajang lomba robotika kategori line follower yang diselenggarakan oleh Politeknik Sriwijaya, Kamis (7/11/2024).

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Tim ini berhasil meraih nominasi Strategi Terbaik, sementara satu tim lainnya, Antasena II, menjadi finalis dalam kompetisi bergengsi tersebut.

Tim Mawang terdiri dari Mardinata Indra Kristianto (3 TE A) dan Muhammad Dezaka Wicansyah (1 TRPL A). Sedangkan tim Antasena II dipimpin oleh Muhammad Raihan A. Shadqi (2 TE A) bersama Yuda Paraswistara (2 TE B) dan Panca Lika Nurjaya (2 TE B).

Mardinata Indra Kristianto, saat ditemui Rabu (20/11/2024), mengungkapkan rasa bangganya sekaligus tantangan yang dihadapi selama kompetisi.

“Perlombaan ini sangat bagus dan menantang, terutama di bidang robotika seperti line follower. Dari persiapan hingga pertandingan, kami belajar banyak, mulai dari manajemen tim, kerja sama, hingga menganalisis masalah di lapangan. Semua itu untuk memastikan robot kami berjalan sesuai algoritma yang dirancang,” jelasnya.

Ia menambahkan bahwa ke depan, timnya akan fokus meningkatkan kemampuan teknis dan persiapan mental untuk menghadapi kompetisi yang lebih besar.

Dosen pembimbing UKM Robotik, Indra Dwi Saputra, M.T., turut memberikan apresiasi atas pencapaian ini.
“Kompetisi seperti ini menjadi ajang pengembangan kemampuan mahasiswa, baik dalam teknologi maupun kerja sama tim. Kami berharap capaian ini memotivasi mereka untuk terus berinovasi dan berprestasi di bidang robotika,” ungkapnya.

Indra juga menekankan bahwa dukungan kampus dan semangat belajar mahasiswa akan menjadi kunci utama dalam meraih prestasi yang lebih tinggi di masa mendatang.
