PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Kasus dugaan Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO) yang menimpa 81 warga Bangka Belitung (Babel) di Myanmar terus menuai sorotan tajam. Lemahnya pengawasan dari pihak terkait menjadi fokus utama publik.
Anggota Komisi IV DPRD Babel, Maryam, mengungkapkan bahwa faktor ekonomi dan sulitnya mencari pekerjaan menjadi penyebab utama seseorang terjerat TPPO. Dugaan pemalsuan dokumen juga memperparah situasi.
“Faktor internal korban, seperti kondisi ekonomi dan sulitnya mencari pekerjaan, membuat mereka tergiur iming-iming gaji besar,” ujar Maryam. “Faktor eksternal, indikasi pemalsuan dokumen dan lemahnya pemeriksaan administrasi, perlu kita evaluasi.”
Maryam mendesak pemerintah pusat, melalui Dirjen Imigrasi, untuk mencari solusi dengan berkoordinasi lebih masif dengan satuan imigrasi di daerah. Koordinasi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah sangat penting untuk mencegah TPPO.
Saat kunjungan ke Balai Pelayanan Perlindungan Tenaga Imigran Indonesia wilayah Sumatera Selatan, terungkap bahwa 32 korban TPPO asal Babel mengurus administrasi di Imigrasi Pangkalpinang.
“Kami akan menelusuri apakah pembuatan paspor dan visa mereka dilakukan oleh oknum atau dikoordinir agen perekrut,” tegas Maryam. “Kami juga akan mempertanyakan rentang waktu pembuatan administrasi tersebut.”
Maryam akan mempertanyakan sejauh mana Imigrasi melibatkan pihak terkait dalam upaya pencegahan TPPO. Peran pemerintah pusat melalui Ditjen Imigrasi juga akan menjadi sorotan.
