Wako Molen Hadiri Jalan Sehat HUT SMP Negeri 2 Sungailiat Ke – 47,”Doakan Spendoe Jaya Selalu”

Bangka, PerkaraNews.com – Wali Kota Pangkalpinang, Dr. H. Maulan Aklil menghadiri Jalan Sehat dalam rangka Peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) SMP Negeri 2 Sungailiat (Spendoe) ke-47 Tahun 2023, Sabtu (28/1/2023).

Kedatangan Molen pada kegiatan yang digelar di Halaman SMP Negeri 2 Sungailiat disambut hangat oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Bangka, Kepala Sekolah SMP Negeri 2 Sungailiat, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda dan Olah Raga, serta seluruh Guru dan ratusan siswa.

Sebagai alumni, Molen menyampaikan jika sekolah yang mengantarkan dirinya menjadi orang nomor satu di Pangkalpinang tersebut merupakan sekolah terbaik yang telah melahirkan banyak siswa berbakat dan berkualitas.

“Terima kasih untuk guru-guru yang telah menciptakan kami seperti ini. Kami bukan siapa-siapa kalau bukan tanpa guru-guru ini”, ungkapnya.

Wali Kota Pangkalpinang itu pun kembali mengenang masa-masa ketika dirinya mengenyam bangku sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Sungailiat. Menurutnya sekolah menegah tersebut memiliki banyak kenangan yang sulit dilupakan.

Tak hanya mengenang, dirinya pun sempat melakukan napak tilas mengelilingi sekolah yang pernah didudukinya sejak 33 tahun yang lalu.

“Saya dulu lulusan dari SD Negeri 15, SMP Negeri 2, terus SMA Negeri 1 Sungailiat. Hidup saya lama di sungailiat bukan di Pangkalpinang, jadi separuh nafas saya ada di Bangka”, jelas Molen.

Molen menambahkan, “33 tahun yang lalu kami hadir di sini. Orang banyak bilang kalau Wali Kota ini orang Palembang. Pada dasarnya Molen tercipta berkat guru-guru SMP 2. Pada momen yang baik ini mewakili alumni terima kasih undangan hari ini”, tambahnya.

Dalam kegiatan jalan sehat tersebut, Molen juga menyumbangkan satu unit sepeda listrik sebagai hadiah utama perayaan gebyar HUT Spendoe ke-47.
