Ajakan itu disampaikannya, usai menghadiri pemberian remisi dan pengurangan masa pidana kepada warga dan anak binaan pemasyarakatan se-Babel, dalam rangka HUT ke-80 Kemerdekaan RI, yang dihelat di Lapas Kelas IIA Tuatunu, Pangkalpinang, Minggu (17/8/2025).

Sementara itu, Kepala Kantor Wilayah (Kanwil) Ditjen Pemasyarakatan Babel, Dian Artanto, dalam laporannya merinci bahwa instansinya membawahi 10 Unit Pelaksana Teknis, baik Lapas, LPKA, Rutan, Bapas serta Rupbasan.
Dian melanjutkan, berdasarkan data per–16 Agustus 2025, saat ini ada sebanyak 2.924 warga binaan, yang terdiri dari 2.763 warga binaan laki-laki dan 161 warga binaan perempuan.
“Jumlah itu, didominasi kasus tindak pindana narkotika sebanyak 1.567 warga binaan,” terang Dian.
Dian menerangkan, di tahun 2025 ini, ada 1.928 warga binaan yang mendapat remisi umum, dengan 31 orang di antaranya langsung bebas.
“Selain itu, diberikan juga remisi dasawarsa kepada 2.028 narapidana, dengan pengurangan masa pidana, antara 3 hingga 90 hari. Dari jumlah itu, 12 orang langsung dinyatakan bebas,” tukasnya. (Yuko)
