Kasus Penangkapan 1 Ton Pasir Timah di Nibung Koba, Warga Pertanyakan Proses Hukum

BANGKA TENGAH,PERKARANEWS.COM – Warga Nibung Koba, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, mempertanyakan proses hukum terkait penangkapan puluhan karung berisi sekitar 1 ton pasir timah oleh Polres Bangka Tengah di sebuah rumah warga pada Jumat (31/1).

Warga menduga pasir timah tersebut berasal dari penambangan ilegal di wilayah Merbuk-Kenari-Pungguk, yang masuk dalam IUP PT Timah.

Kekhawatiran warga ini muncul setelah PT Timah memasang alat pengebor timah di wilayah tersebut. Warga menduga penangkapan ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari laporan PT Timah ke Polres Bangka Tengah terkait aktivitas penambangan ilegal di wilayah mereka.

“Kami sudah mendengar desas-desus ini sejak PT Timah memasang alat pengeboran di Merbuk-Kenari-Pungguk,” ujar salah seorang warga yang enggan disebutkan namanya.

“Kami khawatir aktivitas penambangan ilegal ini terus berlanjut tanpa ada tindakan tegas.”cetus mereka. Sabtu,(16/2)

Hingga saat ini, belum ada keterangan resmi dari pihak kepolisian terkait kasus ini. Namun, warga berharap pihak kepolisian dapat mengusut tuntas kasus ini dan menindak pelaku penambangan ilegal sesuai dengan hukum yang berlaku.(Yuko)
