BANGKA,PERKARANEWS — Mahasiswa Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) dari Program Studi Teknik Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (TRPL) menunjukkan kemampuan terbaik mereka dalam ajang Samsung Innovation Campus.
Samsung Innovation Campus merupakan program pendidikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) global bagi para kaum muda dan mengembangkan bakat para kaum muda dengan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, memberikan keterampilan inti yang dibutuhkan mereka untuk berkembang di masa depan.
Kompetisi bergengsi ini diselenggarakan secara daring dan berlangsung dari 6 Januari hingga 26 Mei 2025, diikuti oleh 437 tim yang berhasil lolos dari total 5.000 tim pendaftar.
Tim NeoTech Polman Babel, yang terdiri dari Agung Sopian, Monika, Fateh Tikal Zamzami, dan Pramudya Zulmi Al Farizy, berhasil melaju ke babak seleksi berikutnya. Prestasi ini menegaskan komitmen mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan kompetisi berbasis teknologi yang menguji inovasi dan kreativitas.
Saat dijumpai pada Kamis (9/1/2025) salah satu tim mahasiswa Agung Sopian mengatakan kompetisi ini dibagi menjadi empat tahap yang menantang, yakni Stage 1 Coding & Software Prototyping, Stage 2 Hardware Prototyping, Stage 3 Software & Hardware Integration, dan Stage 4 Testing & Final Product. Untuk bisa masuk ke tahap berikutnya, kami harus menyelesaikan hingga Stage 3. Di tahap final nanti, hanya tim dengan hasil terbaik yang akan dipilih,” ujarnya.
Agung menambahkan bahwa tim NeoTech tetap optimis dan berusaha memberikan yang terbaik. “Kami akan berjuang semaksimal mungkin, kalau bisa sampai menjadi juara. Ini kesempatan besar untuk membuktikan kemampuan kami,” ungkapnya.
Tak hanya itu, Agung berharap keberhasilan timnya bisa menginspirasi mahasiswa lain. Semoga teman-teman mahasiswa lainnya juga termotivasi untuk mengikuti perlombaan seperti ini di masa depan. Jangan pernah menyerah,” pesan Agung.
