PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) Safrizal Zakaria Ali, M.Si, menghadiri peresmian Rumah Sakit tingkat IV Batin Tikal Kesdam II/Sriwijaya Pangkalpinang, Senin (19/2/2024).
Rumah Sakit yang diinisiasi oleh Kementerian Pertahanan itu menjadi salah satu dari 20 Rumah Sakit TNI yang diresmikan secara virtual oleh Presiden RI Joko Widodo pada hari ini. Setelah sebelumnya terdapat 5 Rumah Sakit TNI yang telah diresmikan.
Pj Gubernur Safrizal berharap pelayanan kesehatan semakin terjangkau dan berkualitas bagi semua lapisan masyarakat Babel dengan kehadiran Rumah Sakit Batin Tikal tersebut.
“Dengan penambahan rumah sakit milik TNI ini, di mana terdapat fasilitas ruang rawat inap tentunya akan menambah angka BOR (Bed Occupancy Ratio) kita. Sehingga masyarakat akan semakin terlayani, juga pelayanan rumah sakit semakin baik,” ujarnya.
Namun, ia juga menekankan bahwa pelayanan kesehatan untuk diarahkan pada sisi promotif dan preventif. Dibanding dengan upaya kuratif, karena pembangunan kesehatan secara promotif dan preventif, akan memberi dampak positif yang lebih besar dan efisien.
“Tentu kita menginginkan preventif dan promotif jauh lebih diutamakan, karena mencegah itu lebih murah, lebih efisien, daripada kita kuratif. Sehingga energi kita tidak banyak terkuras untuk upaya kuratif,” tuturnya.
Sementara itu, Danrem 045 Garuda Jaya Brigjen TNI A Dedy Prasetyo menjelaskan Rumah Sakit yang berlokasi di Dinas Kesehatan Tentara (DKT) Keluarahan Kacang Pedang ini bisa menampung 50 pasien rawat inap serta memiliki fasilitas Radiologi, Laboratorium, dan USG 4D.
“Kami juga sudah memiliki dokter spesialis penyakit dalam, bedah, dan kandungan. Tentunya dengan adanya peningkatan status rumah sakit ini akan menambah layanan kesehatan, khususnya bagi TNI, PNS, serta masyarakat umum lainnya,” pungkasnya.
Seusai meresmikan, Pj Gubernur Safrizal bersama Forkopimda Babel meninjau beberapa ruangan dan peralatan di rumah sakit tersebut. Setelah itu, alumnus terbaik angkatan pertama Institut Pemerintah Dalam Negeri (IPDN) tersebut secara simbolis menyerahkan bantuan sembako untuk masyarakat setempat. (Yuko)
