SUNGAILIAT,PERKARANEWS – Bertempat di Perairan Batu Hitam Dusun Mengkubung Kecamatan Belinyu dan Perairan Desa Penagan Kecamatan Mendo Barat Kabupaten Bangka, Satuan Polisi Air Udara (SatPolairud) Polres Bangka dan Polsek Mendo Barat melakukan himbauan dan pemasangan spanduk larangan melakukan penambangan timah tanpa izin dan Ilegal, Selasa (28/11/2023).
Dalam kegiatan tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Kasat Polair Polres Bangka Iptu Andy Hendarwanto, SH., dan Kapolsek Mendo Barat Iptu Defriansyah, SH., personel Sat Polairud Polres Bangka serta Personel Polsek Mendo Barat.
Kasat Polairud Polres Bangka Iptu Andy Hendarwanto, SH., seizin Kapolres Bangka saat di Perairan Batu Hitam dusun Mengkubung Kecamatan Belinyu mengatakan kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu upaya pihak kepolisian dalam mengantisipasi tindakan penambangan timah yang di lakukan oleh masyarakat secara ilegal atau tanpa izin.
“Kita lakukan himbaun kepada masyarakat sekitar dan juga memasang spanduk larangan agar masyarakat tidak melakukan kegiatan pertambangan timah secara ilegal atau tanpa izin di lokasi tersebut,” ujar Iptu Andy Hendarwanto.
Dikesempatan lain kapolsek Mendo Barat Iptu Defriansyah, SH., mengatakan menghimbau kepada para penambang bahwa aktivitas tersebut bisa merusak kawasan hutan bakau dan masuk kedalam areal tangkap Nelayan perairan Desa Penagan Kecamatan Mendo Barat.
“Kepada para penambang diharapkan segera menghentikan aktivitas tersebut, karena bisa merusak kawasan hutan bakau dan masuk kedalam areal tangkap Nelayan perairan desa Penagan Kecamatan Mendo Barat,” ujar Iptu Defriansyah. (Rony Christ/Yuko)
