PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM– Sebanyak 914 karung pasir timah ilegal yang sebelumnya diamankan dari kapal kayu KM Indah Jaya, kini telah berhasil dipindahkan ke Pos TNI AL Bangka Belitung (Babel) di Pangkalbalam, Kota Pangkalpinang. Proses pemindahan ini berlangsung pada Jumat (13/6), setelah penangkapan KM Indah Jaya pada Jumat (30/5) lalu di aliran sungai muara Pangkalbalam.
Pemindahan muatan ilegal ini memakan waktu cukup lama, dimulai sejak pukul 17.00 WIB. Pembongkaran pasir timah dari lambung KM Indah Jaya disaksikan langsung oleh Komandan TNI AL Babel, Kolonel Laut (P) Ipul Saepul.
“Untuk jumlahnya ada 914 karung. Pertama kita angkat kemarin ada 500 karung, dan ditambah hari ini tadi jumlahnya ada 414 karung berisikan pasir timah,” terang Kolonel Laut (P) Ipul Saepul.
Kolonel Ipul menegaskan, untuk memastikan berat total keseluruhan pasir timah tersebut, pihaknya akan melibatkan Pengadilan Negeri. Estimasi awal menunjukkan jumlahnya sekitar 45,7 ton atau 45.700 kilogram, dengan asumsi rata-rata setiap karung berisi 50 kilogram.
“Kita perkirakan 45,7 ton atau 45.700 kilogram, kalau kita hitung rata-rata satu karung berisikan 50 kilogram kalikan saja 914 karung itu jumlahnya,” jelasnya.
“Kita nanti akan hitung ulang, kemarin sudah berkoordinasi dengan pihak Pengadilan untuk menghitung ulang agar mengetahui secara pasti jumlah seluruh.”tambahnya
Setelah proses penghitungan ulang oleh Pengadilan Negeri, pasir timah ilegal ini rencananya akan dilelang. Hasil dari pelelangan tersebut akan langsung disetorkan kembali ke kas negara.
Penindakan ini merupakan komitmen TNI AL dalam memberantas aktivitas penambangan ilegal dan penyelundupan sumber daya alam di wilayah perairan Babel.(Yuko)
