Tampak gelas bekas minuman berenergi merek “Torpedo” berwarna kuning berserakan di anak tangga gerbang masuk masjid, menyiratkan adanya pesta minuman yang mengkhawatirkan di area sakral tersebut.
Fenomena ini menjadi sorotan tajam masyarakat dan awak media yang melintas. Pasalnya, minuman Torpedo seringkali disalahgunakan oleh generasi muda untuk mencapai efek “teler” atau mabuk. Ditambah dengan potensi pencampuran zat aktif lainnya, konsumsi minuman ini kerap menjadi pemicu aksi negatif seperti tawuran, karena dapat meningkatkan keberanian tanpa batas dan menghilangkan rasa takut.
Seorang warga yang enggan disebutkan namanya mengungkapkan keresahannya.
“Kenapa halaman masjid dijadikan tempat untuk pesta minuman seperti ini? Ini sangat tidak etis dan meresahkan,” ujarnya.
Meskipun minuman Torpedo sendiri adalah minuman berenergi yang legal, penyalahgunaannya untuk tujuan mabuk, apalagi di tempat umum dan area ibadah, adalah masalah serius.
Kandungan kafein dan gula yang tinggi pada minuman berenergi, jika dikonsumsi berlebihan, bisa memicu berbagai masalah kesehatan, dan kombinasinya dengan zat lain dapat menciptakan efek yang tidak diinginkan.
Kejadian ini menggarisbawahi perlunya perhatian lebih dari pihak berwenang dan orang tua. Edukasi mengenai bahaya penyalahgunaan minuman berenergi, serta pengawasan terhadap aktivitas generasi muda, menjadi krusial untuk mencegah terulangnya kejadian serupa di masa mendatang.
