“The King of Nusa” Angkat Derajat Wonosobo di Mata Nusantara

WONOSOBO,PERKARANEWS — Rumah produksi Arsa Pictures bekerja sama dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Wonosobo, Trah Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono II, Yayasan Kapuk Salamba Arga, dan Geber Jawa, melaksanakan Sarasehan Nasional bertajuk “The Soul of Java”, yang dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Pagerejo, Kecamatan Kretek, Kabupaten Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah, Selasa (20/1/2024).

Sarasehan tersebut menjadi satu langkah lanjutan dalam upaya mengungkap perjalanan hidup sang Raja Keraton Yogyakarta kepada dunia luar, bagaimana perjuangannya dalam menentang penjajahan pada masa kolonialisme, hingga perjuangan Geger Sepehi 19-20 Juni 1812. Jiwa patriotisme Sri Sultan HB II ini akan disadur dalam bentuk film layar lebar berjudul “The King of Nusa”.

Wakil Bupati Wonosobo Muhammad Albar, yang turut hadir sebagai keynote speaker menggantikan Bupati Wonosobo Afif Nurhidayat menyebutkan, kegiatan sarasehan ini menjadi momentum bagi Pemerintah Kabupaten Wonosobo untuk memperoleh kekuatan informasi sebagai bahan usulan kepada Pemerintah Pusat agar Sri Sultan HB II ditetapkan sebagai pahlawan nasional.

“Sarasehan hari ini kita ingin mengusulkan bersama-sama tokoh utama HB ke II untuk mendapatkan gelar pahlawan. Maka, atas nama pribadi dan pemerintah, menyambut sangat-sangat baik, sekaligus upaya kita mendorong HB II mendapat gelar kepahlawanan bisa nyata, diterima, dan disambut Pemerintah Pusat, sehingga akan mengangkat derajat, dan wibawa Wonosobo di Jawa Tengah, Indonesia, dan internasional,” kata Albar.

Sarasehan ini juga, kata Albar di hadapan para Kepala Desa, Lurah, Camat, Kepala BPD, dan perangkat desa, hadirnya para narasumber dari berbagai kalangan dan melahirkan sudut pandang berbeda, dapat semakin menguatkan kebanggaan, bahwa di desa, dan daerah tersebut terlahir pahlawan besar yang turut berjuang dalam besarnya bangsa Indonesia saat ini.

Para narasumber yang dihadirkan di antaranya, Manu J. Widyaseputra sebagai filolog, Kukuh Hertriasning (Budayawan Yogyakarta), Djoko Marihandono (Guru Besar Fakultas Ilmu Pengetahuan Budaya Universitas Indonesia), dan Agus Wuryanto, sejarawan Wonosobo, sekaligus moderator dalam sarasehan itu.

“Kita akan mendengar full dari para narasumber, sehingga akan mendukung upaya kita mendapatkan data-data yang valid, data yang konkret, data yang real, untuk mempertebal keyakinan kita mengusulkan ke Pemerintah Pusat HB II menjadi pahlawan nasional. Dengan hadirnya para tokoh, sesepuh ini saya yakin akan mempertebalkan keyakinan membawa HB II mendapatkan gelar kepahlawanan, semakin menggelora, membangun kekuatan mengusulkan ke Pemerintah Pusat,” kata Wakil Bupati Wonosobo.
