Bersama Pj Bupati M Haris, Pj Gubernur Safrizal Tanam Pohon di DAM 1 Pemali

BANGKA,PERKARANEWS – Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) Safrizal Zakaria Ali bersama Pj. Bupati Bangka, Muhammad Haris melakukan penanaman pohon di sekitar sumber air baku DAM 1 Pemali, Kamis (28/12/2023).

Dipilihnya DAM 1 Pemali tersebut lantaran Sumber air baku PDAM Bangka ini rusak akibat penambang pasir timah ilegal .

Safrizal mengatakan penyelamatan lingkungan ini sangat lah penting mengingat Babel ini banyak sekali lahan kritis akibat eks penambangan.

“Ni jadi awal yang baik dan akan terus kita lakukan untuk penyelamatan lingkungan di Babel,” kata Safrizal.

Ia menyebutkan mulai tahun depan dirinya akan melakukan penanaman pohon secara besar besaran dengan menyediakan 1 juta tanaman, dilahan lahan kritis khususnya yang dekat dengan kolong-kolong eks penambangan,” jelasnya.

Untuk itu Januari tahun depan dirinya akan membentuk satgas tanam, dan di ikuti di seluruh Kabupaten/Kota di Babel.

“Satgas yang di bentuk baik itu di Kabupaten maupun desa desa nantinya akan melakukan pendataan lahan lahan kritis di desanya masing masing, jika nanti penanaman 1 juta pohon ini terlaksana, tidak semuanya akan tumbuh pasti ada yang mati,”estimasi kita dari 1 juta pohon ini, paling yang hidupnya sekitar 600 ribuan,” tuturnya.

Ia pun meminta pohon-pohon yang sudah di tanam hendaknya dijaga dan dirawat agar tumbuh, begitu juga dengan 500 pohon minyak kayu putih dan buah buahan yang di tanam di DAM 1 Pemali Bangka ini.

Sementara Pj. Bupati Bangka, Muhammad Haris mengatakan sangat miris melihat kondisi air baku PDAM di DAM 1 Pemali ini yang berwarna coklat susu.

Hal ini akibat aktifitas penambangan timah secara ilegal di DAM 1 pemali Saya selalu mendapatkan keluhan masyarakat terkait air PDAM coklat ini, ” kata Haris.

Untuk itu, dirinya sudah meminta Satpol PP mendirikan posko dekat DAM itu agar tidak ada lagi aktifitas tambang.

Terkait masalah satgas, menurut Haris pihaknya juga dalam waktu dekat ini akan membentuk satgas tanam untuk penanaman lahan lahan kritis di Kabupaten Bangka, tutupnya. (Rony Christ/Yuko)
