Menurut Prof. Udin, di era digital saat ini guru tidak hanya berperan di ruang kelas, tetapi juga perlu hadir di ruang digital. Media sosial, katanya, bisa menjadi wadah efektif untuk menunjukkan kiprah guru sekaligus memperkenalkan berbagai inovasi pendidikan kepada masyarakat luas.
“Silakan tunjukkan aktivitas positif dan perkembangan pendidikan melalui akun media sosial masing-masing. Gunakan tagar #PGRIMampu, #PGRIHebat, dan #PGRILuarBiasa agar semakin banyak orang tahu peran guru di era digital,” ujarnya.
Ia menjelaskan, keaktifan guru di dunia maya tidak hanya berdampak pada popularitas pribadi, tetapi juga mengangkat nama baik PGRI secara nasional. Dengan begitu, organisasi guru ini bisa semakin dikenal dan berpengaruh di ruang digital.
“Jika para guru aktif bermedsos, nama PGRI akan lebih mudah ditemukan dan dikenal masyarakat luas. Ini penting untuk memperkuat citra positif PGRI,” tambahnya.
Selain soal media sosial, Prof. Udin juga menyoroti pentingnya penguasaan teknologi, termasuk kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI), yang kini menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari dunia pendidikan.
“AI memiliki sisi positif dan negatif. Guru harus bijak dalam memanfaatkannya agar hasilnya bermanfaat bagi pembelajaran,” tegasnya.
Ia mengimbau para guru untuk menjadikan media sosial sebagai sarana berbagi hal-hal inspiratif tentang pendidikan, sekolah, maupun kegiatan Hari Guru Nasional.
“Mulai hari ini, buatlah konten positif tentang guru, HGN, dan sekolah. Ajak siswa ikut berpartisipasi agar suasana pendidikan kita semakin semarak dan bernilai positif,” pesannya.
Di sisi lain, Prof. Udin menekankan bahwa di tengah kemajuan teknologi, peran guru tetap tidak tergantikan, terutama dalam membentuk karakter dan moral generasi muda.
