PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Republik Indonesia (RI) meluncurkan Indikator Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) KPK tahun 2025. Langkah ini diambil sebagai upaya pencegahan korupsi di lingkungan pemerintahan daerah. Acara peluncuran tersebut disaksikan oleh kepala daerah atau perwakilan dari seluruh provinsi dan kabupaten/kota di Indonesia.
Penjabat Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Fery Afriyanto, turut hadir secara daring di Ruang Romodong, Kantor Gubernur, pada Rabu (5/3/2025). Peluncuran indikator MCP ini menjadi bagian penting dalam upaya menciptakan tata kelola pemerintahan daerah yang lebih baik dan transparan.
Inspektur Jenderal Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri), Sang Made Mahendra Jaya, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa tata kelola pemerintahan daerah saat ini masih perlu ditingkatkan. “Penting dilakukan evaluasi secara berkala untuk peningkatan atau perbaikan ekosistem pencegahan anti korupsi,” ujarnya.
Sang Made Mahendra Jaya menekankan bahwa esensi dari pengelolaan bersama MCP adalah untuk menciptakan tata kelola pemerintahan daerah yang baik. Pemerintah daerah diharapkan dapat menjadikan MCP sebagai alat utama dalam mengidentifikasi risiko korupsi serta meningkatkan transparansi tata kelola dan sistem pengawasan.
“Dengan penerapan MCP yang optimal, daerah dapat menerima manfaat yang signifikan, seperti peningkatan akuntabilitas dan transparansi dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan serta memperkuat pengawasan internal,” jelasnya.
Ketua KPK RI, Setyo Budiyanto, menambahkan bahwa pencegahan korupsi melalui pendekatan regulasi, sistem, dan peluang sangat penting. “Saya minta kepada seluruh kepala daerah untuk bersinergi dalam upaya mencegah upaya-upaya korupsi,” tegasnya.
Setyo Budiyanto juga mengajak seluruh kepala daerah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dalam pengawasan penyelenggaraan pemerintahan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan tata kelola pemerintahan di Indonesia dapat semakin bersih dan terbebas dari korupsi.(MJ01)
