Safrizal Ajak Masyarakat Gunakan Hak Pilih
PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) Safrizal Zakaria Ali, M.Si, dalam kesempatan dialog melalui siaran langsung Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Pro 1 Sungailiat, menyampaikan sejumlah hal terkait kesiapan Pemprov Kep. Babel dalam menyukseskan pemilu 2024. Hal itu ia sampaikan pada dialog interaktif bertajuk “Cerdas Memilih Untuk Indonesia”, di Studio mini RRI, Kantor Gubernur Kep. Babel, Senin (12/2/2024) siang.
Bersama ketua KPU Kep Babel, Husin Ketua Bawaslu Kep Babel, EM Osykar serta perwakilan akademisi sekaligus pengamat politik Bahjatul Murtasidin, Pj Gubernur Safrizal ungkap pihaknya selaku fasilitator bersama penyelenggara Pemilu terus bahu membahu, berkoordinasi dan bekerja bersama guna menyukseskan Pemilu serentak yang hanya tinggal menghitung hari.
“Sampai dengan sejauh ini (H-2), terkait dengan kesiapan persiapan penyelenggaraan Pemilu tahun 2024 berjalan dengan lancar seluruhnya, hampir paripurna. Adapun terdapat sedikit kekurangan tentu itu bagian dari proses. Selaku pemerintah daerah kami sudah dan akan terus mensuport KPU dan Bawaslu dalam hal ini untuk menyelenggarakan Pemilu dengan baik dan kondusif,” ucap Pj Gubernur.
Selaku Pj kepala daerah dirinya juga menghimbau kepada kepala daerah di Kabupaten/Kota di Kep. Babel, untuk turut menyukseskan penyelenggaraan Pemilu dengan terus berkoordinasi dengan pihak terkait, termasuk perihal distribusi logistik maupun kesiapan di tempat pemungutan suara.
Selain itu, hari tenang yang saat ini sedang berlangsung juga tak luput dari perhatian Pj Gubernur, ia meminta seluruh pihak termasuk keamanan dan badan pengawas lainnya turut mengawasi dan mengawal kondusifitas selama masa tenang, termasuk kepada kontestan dan para calon untuk tidak lagi melaksanakan aktivitas kampanye maupun melaksanakan kegiatan yang mengumpulkan massa.
“Mari kita jaga kondusifitas di masa tenang ini, biarkan masyarakat dan para pemilih untuk berkontemplasi menentukan siapa yang akan ia pilih,” imbau Pj Gubernur.
Mendukung statement Pj Gubernur, Husin menyampaikan kesiapan penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2024 di Kep. Babel yang sudah terstruktur sedemikian rupa, termasuk penyediaan TPS di pulau-pulau terluar yang memenuhi syarat dibentuknya TPS. Selain itu, Em Osykar juga mengungkap pihaknya selalu berkoordinasi dengan KPU guna melakukan pengawasan selama masa tenang, termasuk tertib pendistribusian logistik yang sedang berlangsung, hingga saat pemungutan dan penghitungan suara.
Sementara itu, Bahjatul selaku akademisi sekaligus pengamat politik mengingatkan kepada masyarakat terutama pemilih muda, untuk tidak terpengaruh dengan intervensi siapapun dalam menggunakan hak pilih. Menurutnya, partisipasi pemilih untuk menggunakan hak suara harus dianggap sebagai kebutuhan guna menjaga keberlangsungan demokrasi.
Partisipasi pemilih yang mendapat sorotan dalam perbincangan tersebut juga dipandang Pj Gubernur sebagai tolok ukur kesuksesan pemilu, dimana tingginya angka partisipan yang menggunakan hak pilih menandakan pendidikan politik serta sosialisasi pentingnya menggunakan hak pilih berjalan baik. Untuk itu, Pj Gubernur juga menghimbau kepada masyarakat di Kep. Babel untuk datang ke TPS dan menggunakan hak pilih sesuai hati nurani.
“Kepada masyarakat saya sampaikan, Pemilu adalah sarana pertunjukan kedaulatan rakyat, maka kita harus tunjukan kedaulatan rakyat itu dengan menggunakan hak pilih. Oleh karenanya, 14 Februari besok gunakan hak suara anda sesuai pilihan hati masing-masing, karena suara anda menjamin keberlangsungan demokrasi kita,” pungkas Pj Gubernur. (Yuko)
