MERAWANG,PERKARANEWS โ Menyongsong pesta demokrasi pada Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2024 yang tinggal menghitung hari, Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) Safrizal Zakaria Ali, M.Si, bersama Forkopimda Kep. Babel melakukan kunjungan ke PLTU Air Anyir, Kabupaten Bangka, pada Senin (12/2/2024).
“Hari ini kita berkunjung ke pembangkit listrik utama dari sistem distribusi listrik di Bangka Belitung. Kita datang untuk memastikan suplai listrik di Pulau Bangka ini terjamin dan tidak ada gangguan sesuatu apapun, sehingga pelaksanaan Pemilu di tanggal 14 Februari dapat berjalan dengan lancar,” ujar Pj. Gubernur Safrizal.
Dikatakannya bahwa kemampuan listrik PLTU ini sebesar 180 megawatt, dimana pasokan listrik tersebut bersumber dari 50 megawatt dari jalur Sumatera dan 130 megawat diproduksi dari pembangkit listrik Bangka.
“Kebutuhan kita 180 megawatt, berarti tetap gunakan listrik dengan hemat, karena pasokan listrik kita ini bersumber dari batu bara. Jadi kita tetap menganjurkan kepada masyarakat untuk menghemat listrik. Yang jelas untuk kebutuhan kita sepanjang situasinya normal, transmisi tidak terputus, kemudian tidak ada gangguan alam, maka kebutuhan listrik kita dapat dipenuhi secara baik,” tutur pria yang menjadi lulusan terbaik Angkatan Pertama IPDN itu.
Menurutnya, sepanjang kondisi normal, dan tidak ada pemutusan transmisi dari Sumatera kemudian tidak ada bencana alam di Bangka dan Belitung maka suplai listrik ini aman. Meskipun terdapat beberapa daerah yang tak terjangkau oleh PLN, namun relatif aman.
“Ada beberapa daerah yang tak terjangkau, karena transmisi tak sampai ke sana, sehingga beberapa pulau kecil melalui inisiatif masyarakat setempat berswadaya menggunakan genset. Sementara untuk pulau yang agak besar, seperti pulau Lepar sudah masuk jaringan listrik dengan pulau Bangka,” jelasnya.
Hal senada dijelaskan oleh General Manager PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Bangka Belitung (PLN UIW Babel), Mohammad Munief Budiman, bahwa untuk Pulau Bangka sebagian besar sudah terjangkau aliran listrik. Namun sisa di pulau Belitung, khususnya di Pulau Ketapang dan Pulau Batun belum terjangkau, dan pihaknya berencana memasukkan kedua pulau ini ke dalam program listrik desa.
Guna menghadapi Pemilu 2024, PLN Bangka telah menyiapkan personil dengan peralatan dan material pengganti yang dialokasikan dibeberapa lokasi, diantaranya KPU Tingkat Provinsi, Kabupaten/Kota, PPK, TPS. Sementara di KPPU, pihaknya akan menyiapkan genset dan UPS.
“Kita mengantisipasi gangguan alam saja, kondisi pasokan listrik kita aman. Alhamdulillah tidak ada yang rentan, semua daerah sudah masuk interkoneksi, Bangka interkoneksi Sumatera, Belitung juga dalam kondisi pembangkit yang memadai,” tutupnya. (Yuko)
