Henry mengenang perjalanan awal yang penuh tantangan, mulai dari resep yang belum stabil, maraknya barang retur dari toko, hingga usaha mencari formula terbaik agar produknya dapat diterima pasar.
“Satu tahun awal kami benar-benar terombang-ambing. Resep tidak konsisten, banyak toko mengembalikan barang. Tapi kami terus memperbaiki kualitas dengan melakukan riset ke pabrik camilan lain,” kenangnya.
Upaya itu membuahkan hasil. Skala produksi terus meningkat hingga kini pabrik Duo Ayu Sehati mampu memproduksi 1,2 ton getas, 500 kg kericu, 600 kg kemplang, serta 500 kg bakso ikan maupun sapi setiap hari.
Pasarnya pun semakin luas, tidak hanya Pangkalpinang dan Bangka Belitung, tetapi juga Jakarta. Bahkan, produk mereka mulai menembus pasar ekspor.
“Kemarin kami kirim sekitar dua ratus kilo ke Australia. Itu baru permulaan, tapi respons konsumen sangat bagus,” ujar Henry.
Henry menegaskan bahwa perkembangan pesat ini tidak lepas dari dukungan PT TIMAH Tbk melalui Program Kemitraan. Bantuan permodalan memungkinkan dirinya menambah mesin produksi yang langsung berdampak pada peningkatan kapasitas.
“Sejak menjadi mitra binaan PT TIMAH Tbk, kami bisa menambah mesin produksi. Kuali dari dua jadi empat, jadi hasil produksi kami meningkat hampir dua kali lipat,” jelasnya.
Bantuan ini membuat Duo Ayu Sehati dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, memperluas pasar, serta mempertahankan kualitas produk yang menjadi keunggulan mereka. Bahan baku dari nelayan lokal dan tepung sagu rumbia berkualitas menjadi fondasi produk yang tetap digemari konsumen.
Selain memproduksi getas, kericu, dan kemplang, Henry juga mengembangkan produk lain seperti bakso ikan, bakso sapi, dan ebi bubuk yang banyak diminati konsumen di Jakarta.
Untuk menjawab tingginya permintaan pasar, Duo Ayu Sehati tengah menyiapkan inovasi baru berupa ikan giling yang menyasar pelaku industri kuliner dan rumah tangga. Mereka juga merencanakan perluasan pabrik untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi.
