PANGKALPINANG, PERKARANEWS.COM – Perkumpulan Penggiat Desa Wisata dan Sadar Wisata Bangka Belitung (PPDWSW BABEL) secara resmi mengajukan permohonan dana bantuan kepada Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) melalui Biro Kesejahteraan Rakyat (Kesra). Pengajuan ini menjadi sorotan utama dalam Rapat Koordinasi dan Sinkronisasi Kebijakan Kesejahteraan Rakyat Non Pelayanan Dasar yang bertema “Sinergitas Pemerintah dan Pengelola Desa Wisata Dalam Pengembangan Desa Wisata” pada Selasa,(9/12), di Gedung BKDSA BABEL.
Humas PPDWSW Babel, Ahmad Wahyudi, yang menyampaikan aspirasi tersebut, mengungkapkan rasa keprihatinan atas kurangnya perhatian pemerintah daerah terhadap pengembangan desa wisata dan Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) di Bangka Belitung selama ini.
”Sekian lama berdirinya desa wisata dan juga kelompok sadar wisata di Bangka Belitung ini kurang perhatian dari pemerintah daerah,” ujar Ahmad Wahyudi.
“Selama ini desa wisata dan Pokdarwis selalu berjuang sendiri untuk membangun ekowisata baru yang menjadi destinasi bagi masyarakat dan wisatawan luar Pulau Bangka dan Belitung.”ujarnya.
PPDWSW Babel menekankan bahwa desa wisata dan Pokdarwis merupakan ujung tombak pembangunan ekonomi ekowisata. Mereka berjuang memanfaatkan dan melestarikan alam Bangka Belitung agar dapat dinikmati oleh generasi mendatang, terutama di tengah kondisi alam yang semakin rusak.
”Besar sekali harapan dari desa wisata dan juga kelompok sadar wisata agar bisa menjadi sebuah ekosistem yang berkelanjutan, mengembangkan potensi-potensi yang ada di wilayah mereka untuk menjadikan sebuah ekonomi yang berkelanjutan, baik itu UMKM, kesenian, keterampilan, budaya, serta melestarikan alam dan sungai,” tambahnya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, PPDWSW Babel mendesak Pemerintah Provinsi Bangka Belitung untuk menganggarkan biaya khusus yang dapat disalurkan kepada pengurus desa wisata dan Pokdarwis yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Mereka meyakini, dukungan anggaran ini akan membawa Bangka Belitung meraih prestasi terbaik di kancah pariwisata.
Ahmad Wahyudi juga secara tegas menyinggung gejolak pertambangan timah ilegal yang semakin masif terjadi di Bangka Belitung. Kerusakan lingkungan akibat aktivitas tambang tersebut dinilai telah menghancurkan lahan-lahan yang seharusnya bisa tumbuh hijau dan berkelanjutan.
”Harapan agar ke depan ada perhatian khusus pemerintah di tengah gejolak pertambangan timah yang semakin membara dan membabi buta menghancurkan tanah-tanah dan lahan-lahan yang seharusnya tumbuh hijau dan berkelanjutan,” tegasnya, menyoroti kontras antara upaya pelestarian desa wisata dengan kerusakan alam yang kian parah.
