PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM– Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Pergerakan Mahasiswa Hukum Indonesia (IKA PERMAHI) Bangka Belitung (Babel) menggelar diskusi membahas konsep kebijakan publik untuk gubernur terpilih. Diskusi ini menghasilkan sejumlah gagasan inovatif yang bertujuan untuk memajukan daerah Babel di berbagai sektor. Selasa,(11/2)
Ketua IKA PERMAHI Babel, Muhammad Legi Hartono, SH, menyampaikan beberapa poin penting dari hasil diskusi tersebut. Salah satu gagasan utama adalah menjadikan Babel sebagai pusat pendidikan di Indonesia. Untuk mewujudkan hal ini, IKA PERMAHI mengusulkan penggabungan beberapa perguruan tinggi menjadi satu universitas, yaitu Universitas Nusantara Bangka Belitung, yang terdiri dari Universitas Pertiba dan Universitas Bangka Belitung (UBB).
Selain itu, mereka juga mengusulkan agar AMIK diubah menjadi Universitas Telkom Indonesia, serta STAIN dan Muhammadiyah menjadi Universitas Islam Nusantara.
“Dengan penggabungan ini, diharapkan Babel dapat memiliki universitas yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing tinggi, sehingga mampu menarik minat mahasiswa dari seluruh Indonesia,” ujar Legi.
Selain sektor pendidikan, IKA PERMAHI juga menggagas konsep pembangunan wilayah pesisir pantai dan laut dengan konsep perkemahan dan wisata. Konsep ini akan diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa yang kuliah di Babel, serta masyarakat umum. IKA PERMAHI juga mengusulkan pembangunan perkemahan di perbukitan dan wisata hutan adat Kelekak.
“Kami berharap konsep ini dapat meningkatkan potensi pariwisata Babel, sekaligus memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar,” lanjut Legi.
Lebih lanjut, IKA PERMAHI juga mendorong agar semua tingkatan keilmuan, mulai dari sarjana, magister, doktoral, hingga pendidikan profesi, dapat tersedia di universitas di Babel dengan biaya kuliah yang terjangkau. Mereka juga mengusulkan adanya sistem “negara kecil” untuk mahasiswa sebagai wadah pengembangan kepemimpinan.
“Kami ingin mahasiswa di Babel memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk mengembangkan diri dan menjadi pemimpin masa depan,” tegas Legi.
Untuk memperkuat moralitas dan kepemimpinan mahasiswa, IKA PERMAHI mengusulkan mata kuliah wajib seperti moralitas hukum, organisasi dan kepemimpinan, serta peran dan fungsi kewenangan lembaga negara. Mereka juga menggagas wisata kota hijau sebagai tempat rekreasi bagi mahasiswa.
“Wisata kota hijau ini akan dilengkapi dengan berbagai fasilitas, seperti taman, arena bermain, arena olahraga, hingga lapak kuliner,” jelas Legi.
Selain itu, IKA PERMAHI juga menggagas peraturan perlindungan terumbu karang dan biota laut sebagai kawasan perlindungan yang bertujuan untuk wisata pesisir pantai dan laut.
“Kami berharap gagasan ini dapat didengar dan dipertimbangkan oleh gubernur terpilih, sehingga dapat membawa perubahan positif bagi Bangka Belitung,” pungkas Legi.(Yuko)
