Komisi 2 DPRD Kota Pangkalpinang Harap Pemkot Bangun Kawasan Ekonomi Baru

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Timbulnya kesan semakin semrawut kawasan antara Bangka Trade Center (BTC) dan Ramayana Pangkalpinang turut dikomentari oleh Anggota DPRD Kota Pangkalpinang.

Anggota Komisi 2 DPRD Kota Pangkalpinang, Muhammad Rusdi mengatakan kurangnya penataan di kawasan tersebut menandakan kurangnya peran Pemerintah dalam menjawab kebutuhan Kota Pangkalpinang.

Dikatakan Rusdi, sampai saat ini kurangnya penataan di kawasan yang termasuk bagian Pasar Induk Kota Pangkalpinang itu menimbulkan kesan tidak adanya penyelesaian

“Yang di Pasar Induk itu, sesuai perda kan namanya masuk Pasar Induk ya. Bagaimana penyelesaiannya, buat pasar baru, kawasan ekonomi baru, kalau tidak pasti akan semrawut terus,” ujar Rusdi pada Perkaranews.com, Kamis (21/9/2023).

Menurutnya, dibangunnya kawasan baru itu saat ini belum menjadi opsi yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Pangkalpinang untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut.

Rusdi juga menjabarkan, saat ini jajaran Komisi 2 DPRD Kota Pangkalpinang juga tidak menyetujui jika dilakukan penertiban tanpa disediakannya tempat lain sebagai solusi bagi pedagang.

“Kalau masyarakat ingin berdagang kan seharusnya bersyukur, tapi karena pemerintah tidak bisa menyelesaikan tadi. Jadi hal itu menjadi tantangan bagi kepala daerah ke depan, siapapun itu,” tegasnya.

Lebih lanjut, Rusdi juga menambahkan pertumbuhan pasar di kawasan lain merupakan kebutuhan yang harus segera dijawab oleh Pemkot Pangkalpinang.

“Kita akui pertumbuhan ekonomi pasca covid memang sangat baik, sehingga banyak orang yang membuka usaha. Baik itu yang berdagang di pasar besar atau tempat lain. Konteksnya di seluruh Pangkalpinang, karena banyak muncul pasar-pasar baru,” tandasnya.

“Pasar Kerabut, Pasar Jalan Irian, Pasar Air Itam itu luar biasa semrawutnya. Intinya bawah Pemkot tidak terlalu siap menghadapi pertumbuhan kawasan ekonomi,” pungkasnya. (Yuko)
