Anggota DPRD Bangka Belitung Geram “Rentenir Kampung” Jerat Ibu-Ibu dengan Bunga Gila-Gilaan!

BANGKA,PERKARANEWS.COM Anggota DPRD Bangka Belitung dari fraksi PKB, Agam Dliya Ulhaq, mengungkapkan kegeramannya terhadap praktik rentenir yang meresahkan masyarakat, khususnya para ibu rumah tangga. Praktik pinjaman dengan bunga yang mencekik ini, yang dijuluki “Lentenir Kampung,” dilaporkan menjerat banyak warga di sejumlah daerah di Bangka. Jumat,(12/9)

Agam Dliya Ulhaq menceritakan salah satu kasus yang ia tangani secara langsung. Seorang ibu yang baru saja melahirkan dan membutuhkan uang Rp 1 juta, terpaksa meminjam kepada rentenir. Namun, pinjaman tersebut disertai bunga yang sangat tinggi, ia harus mengembalikan Rp 1,3 juta per minggu.

“Kalau dalam seminggu itu dia tidak mampu bayar, berarti utang itu dilanjutin. Bunganya tetap Rp 300 ribu, jadi misalkan hari ini Rp 1 juta, dibalikin Rp 1,3 juta,” jelas Agam.

“Kalau dia tidak mampu bayar, dia harus bayar Rp 300 ribu buat nutupin utang itu, dan itu bisa 10 sampai 12 kali. Artinya, bisa sampai Rp 3,6 juta, tapi utang pokok yang Rp 1 juta itu tetap tidak lunas.”tambahnya
Menurut Agam, kasus ini hanyalah salah satu dari sekian banyak contoh yang terjadi di lapangan. Praktik peminjaman ilegal ini dianggap sangat merugikan masyarakat, terutama di tengah kondisi ekonomi yang sedang lesu.
