TANJUNG PANDAN,PERKARANEWS – Muhtar Motong menggelar reses di Desa Air Saga Kecamatan Tanjung Pandan, Kabupaten Belitung, tepatnya di RT 11, Sabtu siang (17/05/2025).
Dalam kegiatan reses anggota Komisi I DPRD Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung tersebut, sejumlah warga terutama yang berprofesi sebagai nelayan mengikuti seluruh prosesi acara dengan antusias.
Haji Tare (sapaan akrab Muhtar Mutong) menyampaikan bahwa terbentuknya Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung saat ini bukanlah hadiah tetapi merupakan suatu proses ikhtiar yang sudah dimulai sejak lama.
“Provinsi ini tidak hadir tanpa perjuangan, provinsi kepulauan Bangka Belitung ini punya nilai strategis terutama hasil lautnya. Posisi lautnya yang strategis terletak di antara laut China Selatan, Laut Jawa dan Kalimantan mempunyai nilai lebih,” jelas Haji Tare.
Kepada konstituennya di Desa Air Saga, ia meminta untuk terus menjaga dan memelihara kelestarian laut demi masa depan anak cucu.
“Untuk itu saya meminta kita semua menjaga laut. Silakan usul apa saja aspirasi dari masyarakat untuk nanti kita perjuangkan,” pintanya.
Terkait ini, salah seorang nelayan setempat yang merupakan anggota Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) mengusulkan agar Haji Muhtar menyampaikan keinginan beberapa KUB di desa Air Saga untuk mendapatkan bantuan langsung dari provinsi.
“Kami memohon kepada Pak Haji untuk agar KUB dapat dibantu dan juga mendapatkan bantuan untuk pembersihan semak-semak yang berdekatan dengan jalan hingga puskesmas,” pinta warga.
Mengenai usulan ini Haji Muhtar Motong meminta untuk yang sebelumnya belum terakomodir untuk terus diusulkan.
“Soal KUB itu kelak coba diusulkan lagi, dari 4 kelompok ini buatkan proposalnya, kalau bisa secepatnya. DPR akan melakukan pembahasan dan berusaha terus memperjuangkan,” tutupnya.(Yuko)
