PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Wali Kota Pangkalpinang melalui Asisten Pemerintahan dan Kesra, Akhmad Subekti menghadiri workshop data inflasi dan jasa akomodasi Kota Pangkalpinang dalam memperingati Hari Statistik Nasional 2024 oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Pangkalpinang di Swiss Bell Hotel, Kamis (12/9/2024).
Bekti menyampaikan BPS sebagai instansi penyelenggara statistik dasar telah dipercaya pemerintah dalam memonitoring capaian pembangunan nasional.
“Saya mengapresiasi dukungan BPS kepada pemerintah kota sehingga kemajuan yang diraih terdokumentasi dengan baik, ” ujarnya.
Kata Bekti, BPS juga secara rutin merilis data inflasi yang merupakan salah satu indikator makro pembangunan. Indikator tersebut digunakan sebagai informasi dasar untuk pengambilan keputusan di tingkat ekonomi makro secara fiskal maupun moneter.
BPS Kota Pangkalpinang telah berupaya menyediakan data inflasi dengan melakukan pemantauan harga ratusan komoditas secara harian, mingguan, dan bulanan.
“Saya mengapresiasi BPS menyampaikan berita resmi statistik inflasi secara khusus untuk Kota Pangkalpinang, sehingga pemerintah Kota Pangkalpinang dapat berdiskusi langsung mengenai kondisi perekonomian di Kota Pangkalpinang yang digambarkan oleh perubahan harga, ” ujarnya.
Bekti menyampaikan bahwa hingga saat ini inflasi Kota Pangkalpinang masih dalam kondisi relatif stabil dengan inflasi tahunan yang rendah. Angka inflasi sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan stok dan permintaan.
Ia menjelaskan fenomena dibalik angka inflasi tentu perlu dicermati untuk melihat perekonomian secara umum.
Oleh karenanya, Bekti menyambut baik kegiatan ini yang akan memberikan pemahaman terkait perhitungan data inflasi dan akomodasi yang dilakukan oleh BPS sebagai lembaga resmi statistik.
“Tak lupa juga saya ucapkan selamat hari statistik nasional, mari bersama kita membangun statistik berkualitas untuk Indonesia emas, ” tukasnya.
Sementara Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Pangkalpinang, Dewi Savitri menyampaikan bahwa peran data statistik dalam mendukung pembangunan di Indonesia sangatlah penting. Sebab data statistik digunakan sebagai bahan perancanaan, monitoring, maupun evaluasi kebijakan.
“Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) selalu berupaya untuk menghasilkan data yang berkualitas, baik dari sisi keakuratan data, cakupan yang luas, berkesinambungan, relevan, dan dibutuhkan oleh pengguna data, ” ujarnya.
Dewi menyampaikan BPS secara rutin telah melakukan diseminasi data baik melalui Berita Resmi Statistik (BRS), publikasi, maupun tabel data yang dapat diakses dan didownload secara gratis di website BPS yakni pangkalpinangkota.bps.go.id.
“Khusus untuk data Inflasi dan Pariwisata dirilis setiap bulannya secara tatap muka baik di tingkat Pusat, Provinsi maupun Kabupaten/Kota,” kata Dewi.
Ia menjelaskan data inflasi menjadi salah satu data penting yang ditunggu pengguna data terutama pemerintah dalam menjaga stabilitas perekonomian. Selain itu juga terdapat data pariwisata yang mencakup data jasa akomodasi digunakan pemerintah untuk pengambilan kebijakan di bidang pariwisata.
“Dalam menghasilkan data tersebut BPS tidak bisa bekerja sendiri, melainkan memerlukan sinergi dengan OPD/Instansi terkait juga, tentunya hubungan yang baik dengan responden, ” jelasnya. (Yuko)
