DPRD Babel Temukan Solusi Awal dalam Perselisihan PT Timah dan Penambang Rakyat

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM – Ketegangan panjang antara masyarakat penambang rakyat dan PT Timah Tbk akhirnya menemui titik terang. Setelah melewati berbagai dinamika dan perdebatan, DPRD bersama Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) berhasil memediasi pertemuan penting yang mempertemukan kedua pihak bersama jajaran pemerintah daerah dan unsur Forkopimda.

Rapat yang berlangsung di Ruang Tanjung Pendam, Senin (3/11/2025), dihadiri oleh Ketua DPRD Babel Didit Srigusjaya, Gubernur Babel Hidayat Arsani, Forkopimda, para Bupati/Walikota, dan Direktur Utama PT Timah. Dalam forum tersebut, tercapai dua kesepakatan utama yang dinilai menjadi langkah dalam penyelesaian polemik tambang rakyat di Babel.

Didit Srigusjaya menjelaskan, kesepakatan ini lahir dari semangat bersama untuk menghadirkan keadilan dan kesejahteraan bagi para penambang rakyat tanpa mengabaikan aspek hukum dan tata kelola sumber daya alam yang berkelanjutan.

“Yang salah itu oknum mitra. Dirut PT Timah dan Gubernur sepakat, jika ada mitra yang membeli timah dengan harga tidak layak, izinnya akan dicabut. Itu sudah clear,” tegas Didit usai rapat.

Adapun dua poin kesepakatan yang dihasilkan adalah:
1. PT Timah wajib membeli timah rakyat dengan harga yang layak dan sepadan, yakni setara dengan nilai minimal 10 kilogram beras untuk setiap 1 kilogram timah. Ketentuan ini dimaksudkan untuk menjamin kesejahteraan penambang agar sebanding dengan nilai ekonomi timah di pasar global.

2. PT Timah memberikan izin kepada masyarakat untuk melakukan penambangan di wilayah IUP PT Timah, dengan ketentuan seluruh hasil produksi dijual langsung kepada PT Timah.

Kesepakatan ini sekaligus menegaskan peran DPRD Babel sebagai jembatan komunikasi antara masyarakat, pemerintah, dan korporasi dalam menciptakan win-win solution

Menurut Didit, langkah ini menjadi awal dari babak baru hubungan antara penambang rakyat dan PT Timah yang lebih terbuka, legal, serta berpihak pada kesejahteraan masyarakat.

“Ini bukan sekadar kesepakatan di atas kertas, tapi bentuk nyata komitmen kita untuk memperjuangkan hak rakyat tanpa menabrak aturan. DPRD akan terus mengawal implementasinya,” ujar Didit menambahkan.

Dengan adanya kesepakatan tersebut, konflik panjang yang sempat menimbulkan keresahan di kalangan penambang rakyat kini mulai mereda.(Yuko)
