BANGKA TENGAH,PERKARANEWS.COM – Kabar duka menyelimuti dunia pertambangan timah di Bangka Tengah. Insiden memilukan kembali terjadi di Desa Lubuk Besar, tepatnya di kawasan Kuruk, pada Minggu (13/7), yang merenggut empat nyawa penambang. Informasi yang dihimpun awak media di lapangan mengungkap, korban terdiri dari tiga pekerja dan seorang bos pemilik tambang.
Peristiwa nahas ini diperkirakan terjadi sekitar pukul 12.00 WIB siang. Tiga unit alat berat jenis SANY diketahui berada di lokasi, namun satu unit di antaranya ambles, menyulitkan proses pencarian korban. Dua unit alat berat lainnya saat ini difokuskan untuk upaya pencarian, namun hingga berita ini diturunkan, para korban belum juga ditemukan.
Seluruh penambang yang menjadi korban diketahui berasal dari Kecamatan Lubuk. Tim pencari masih berjibaku di lokasi, namun terkendala kondisi camoi (tanah bekas galian tambang) yang sudah rata, membuat upaya pencarian belum membuahkan hasil signifikan.
