PANGKALPINANG SIAGA: Ular Piton 4 Meter Resahkan Warga Pintu Air di Tengah Banjir Rob

PANGKALPINANG, PERKARANEWS – Warga Kelurahan Pintu Air, Kecamatan Rangkui, Kota Pangkalpinang, Senin (21/4) malam tadi dikejutkan dengan penemuan seekor ular sanca atau piton berukuran besar. Reptil sepanjang kurang lebih 4 meter itu ditemukan warga di RT 02 yang rumahnya masih terendam banjir, diduga hendak mencari tempat kering untuk berlindung.

Penemuan ular ini menambah keresahan warga Pintu Air yang saat ini tengah berjuang menghadapi dampak banjir rob dan tingginya curah hujan. Sisilia, salah seorang warga setempat, mengungkapkan bahwa banjir yang melanda sejak siang hari akibat pasang air laut dan hujan deras telah merendam puluhan rumah di wilayah RT 01 dan RT 02.

“Air masuk cukup tinggi, banyak warga yang terpaksa mengungsi ke tempat yang lebih tinggi. Bahkan ada yang tidur di teras rumah tetangga karena rumahnya masih kebanjiran,” ujar Sisilia dengan nada khawatir.

Kondisi banjir juga berdampak pada aktivitas belajar mengajar. Pantauan di lapangan menunjukkan Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) 43 Pangkalpinang yang berada di Kelurahan Pintu Air, halaman sekolahnya masih terendam air setinggi betis orang dewasa.

Selain merendam pemukiman dan fasilitas pendidikan, banjir ini juga menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan munculnya hewan-hewan liar seperti ular ke area permukiman warga. Kondisi rumah yang tergenang air memaksa hewan-hewan tersebut mencari tempat yang lebih aman dan kering.

Hingga berita ini diturunkan, air banjir di Kelurahan Pintu Air dan Kelurahan Kejaksaan masih belum surut. Pasang air laut yang diperkirakan masih tinggi menjadi salah satu penyebab lambatnya penurunan debit air.Puluhan rumah di kedua kelurahan tersebut masih terendam, menyebabkan aktivitas warga terganggu.


Pemerintah Kota Pangkalpinang dan instansi terkait diharapkan segera mengambil tindakan untuk membantu warga yang terdampak banjir dan mengantisipasi potensi bahaya lain seperti kemunculan hewan liar di area permukiman. Warga juga diimbau untuk tetap waspada dan berhati-hati selama kondisi banjir belum sepenuhnyaNormal.(Yuko)
