BANGKA,PERKARANEWS — Bantuan paket sembako ini diserahkan secara simbolis oleh Pengawas Tambang Lumut, Suhendi didampingi AVP Sekretariat Area Bangka Utara, Anjar di Dermaga Mantung Kabupaten Bangka Utara, kepada Kepala Desa Lumut, Frenky Rickyanto Liong di sela – sela semarak apel Gernas K3 di Area Bangka Utara, Rabu (5/2/2025).
Curah hujan yang tinggi pekan lalu mengakibatkan air sungai meluap sejak pagi, Sabtu (1/2/2025) menyebabkan banjir hingga satu meter lebih dan membuat kegiatan sehari – hari warga terhenti.
Kepala Desa Lumut, Frenky Rickyanto Liong berterima kasih pada PT Timah yang peduli dengan warganya yang terkena dampak langsung banjir.
“Kami sangat berterima kasih kepada PT Timah yang tanggap dan peduli kepada warga kami yang terkena dampak banjir,” ujarnya.
Bantuan sembako yang disalurkan hari ini, lanjut Frenky semoga dapat membantu meringankan warga mereka yang terdampak banjir.
“Curah hujan yang tinggi menyebabkan air sungai meluap sekitar 50 centimeter hingga 1 meter, mengakibatkan terhentinya aktivitas warga. Bantuan sembako ini semoga meringankan warga kami yang terdampak langsung banjir ini,” katanya.
“Selain bantuan sembako kami juga sudah mengajukan permohoan kepada PT Timah agar dibantu memperbaiki tanggul yang jebol, kami berharap dukungan untuk antisipasi mengatasi banjir tersebut,” harap Kades.
Sementara itu, Ketua RT Dusun 1 KD Belinyu, Subagyo juga menyampaikan rasa terimakasih kepada PT Timah yang telah memberikan bantuan sembako.
Tanggul sungai jebol karena curah hujan yang tinggi, dampak banjir ini lumayan parah, banyak peralatan elektronik rumah tangga rusak.
“Dampak yang terjadi lumayan parah, warga tidak bisa melakukan aktivitas di dalam rumah seperti memasak. Sofa basah, kasur basah, dan kulkas mati kena air tidak bisa diselamatkan,” jelasnya.
Hal senada juga diungkapkan Kepala Dusun Parit Kelapa, Ulfa, jika air masuk terlalu cepat sehingga warga jadi panik lalu warga mencari tempat berlindung yang tinggi.
Ia berharap PT Timah merealisasikan permohona bantuan perbaikan tanggul irigasi sehingga mampu menahan air dan tidak mengalir ke lokasi warga.
“Semoga permohonan kami bisa segera direalisasikan dan warga kembali bisa beraktivitas seperti biasa. Kami doakan PT Timah tetap jaya, bisa membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan,” katanya.(Yuko)
