PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS –Atlet kebanggaan Bangka Belitung, Robi Syianturi, kembali mengukir prestasi gemilang di ajang Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI 2024 Aceh-Sumut.
Setelah sebelumnya sukses meraih medali perunggu di nomor lari 5000 meter, kali ini Robi sukses menyabet medali perak di nomor lari 1500 meter pada cabang olahraga atletik yang berlangsung di Stadion Atletik Madya, Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara.
Dengan semangat yang tak kenal lelah, Robi berhasil finish di posisi kedua, memberikan performa terbaiknya dalam pertandingan hari ini.
Atlet berusia 25 tahun ini mengungkapkan rasa syukur atas pencapaian yang telah diraihnya selama PON kali ini.
“Saya sangat bersyukur bisa meraih medali perak di kelas 1500 meter, setelah sebelumnya juga mendapatkan medali perunggu di kelas 5000 meter. Ini adalah hasil kerja keras, tapi saya akan lebih fokus lagi di pertandingan selanjutnya,” ujar Robi dengan penuh semangat.
Robi juga menambahkan bahwa ia menargetkan hasil lebih baik pada nomor 10.000 meter yang akan berlangsung dalam beberapa hari ke depan.
Harapannya, dia bisa kembali mempersembahkan medali bagi Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung.
“Saya akan berusaha memberikan yang terbaik dan mudah-mudahan bisa membawa pulang medali untuk Bangka Belitung lagi,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua KONI Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung turut memberikan apresiasi atas perjuangan dan prestasi yang diraih Robi di ajang PON kali ini.
“Selamat untuk Robi yang berhasil meraih medali perak di nomor lari 1500 meter. Performanya mulai kembali meningkat setelah sebelumnya membawa medali perunggu di nomor 5000 meter. Semoga di pertandingan berikutnya, Robi bisa tampil lebih maksimal dan meraih hasil yang lebih baik lagi,” ujar Ketua KONI dengan penuh harapan.
Robi Syianturi terus menjadi sorotan sebagai salah satu atlet yang memiliki potensi besar dalam cabang olahraga atletik di Indonesia.
Dengan persiapan matang dan tekad yang kuat, banyak pihak optimis bahwa Robi mampu memberikan kejutan di nomor 10.000 meter mendatang.
