Sugianto mengatakan, pihaknya sangat mengapresiasi program kelas beasiswa PT Timah Tbk karena sangat bagus. Melalui program ini memberikan kesempatan bagi para pelajar dari Kabupaten Karimun untuk mengenyam pendidikan di SMAN 1 Pemali.

“Kami dari Pemerintah Daerah Kab Karimun terkhusus dari Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan mengucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada PT.Timah Tbk yang telah memprogramkan kegiatan ini, sehingga memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa/siswi SMP di kab Karimun untuk menerima beasiswa di SMA Negeri 1 Pemali Bangka,” katanya.

Ia berharap, program ini dapat terus berlanjut sehingga semakin banyak siswa yang bisa mendapatkan kesempatan untuk belajar melalui program kelas beasiswa PT Timah Tbk.

“Kami berharap program ini dapat berjalan berkesinambungan tiap tahunnya sehingga bagi siswa/siswi yang tidak mampu namun berprestasi memiliki kesempatan untuk melanjutkan sekolah ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi,” katanya.

Dirinya berharap, kedepan PT Timah Tbk dapat terus berinovasi dalam mendukung program pendidikan di Kabupaten Karimun.

Senada, Kepala SMP Negeri 3 Kundur Barat Juwarno, menyampaikan bahwa Program Kelas Beasiswa PT Timah Tbk selalu dinantikan para siswa mereka karena sangat membantu para orang tua yang memiliki keterbatasan ekonomi.

“Kami dari pihak Sekolah juga terus memberikan motivasi kepada seluruh siswa di SMP Negeri 3untuk belajar dengan baik dan giat sehingga terus berprestasi sehingga dapat mengikuti Program Beasiswa PT Timah Tbk, karena pada Program Beasiswa PT Timah Tbk hanya Siswa-siswi yang berprestasi yang dapat ikut Program ini,” katanya.

Dengan memberikan motivasi seperti itu banyak pelajar mereka dapat belajar dengan baik sehingga setiap tahun SMP Negeri 3 Kundur Barat selalu mengirimkan wakil untuk mengikuti Program Beasiswa PT Timah Tbk.

“Harapan kami semoga program beasiswa ini dapat terus berlanjut sehingga para siswa siswi yang memiliki prestasi namun terkendala biaya dapat terus mengejar mimpi dan SDM Masyarakat di Kundur Barat juga semakin baik,” tandasnya. (Yuko)
