PANGKALPINANG, PERKARANEWS.COM — Sebanyak 163 Koperasi Desa (Kopdes) Merah Putih di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel), siap mengelola Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) timah, di wilayah masing-masing.
Langkah ini, menjadi bagian dari program kemitraan strategis antara pemerintah daerah dan PT Timah Tbk, dalam mewujudkan tata kelola pertambangan rakyat yang legal dan menyejahterakan.
Gubernur Kepulauan Babel, Hidayat Arsani menegaskan, koperasi yang telah terbentuk, akan bekerja sama langsung dengan PT Timah, dalam operasional penambangan.
Gubernur Hidayat menekankan, bahwa seluruh hasil timah dari kegiatan koperasi, wajib disetorkan ke PT Timah, bukan ke pihak lain.
“Kopdes ini bukan untuk pembayaran, tapi untuk bekerja. Hasil timah yang didapat tidak boleh dijual ke pihak lain, harus ke PT Timah,” tegas Gubernur Hidayat, saat membuka Rapat Koordinasi Percepatan Operasionalisasi Kopdes Merah Putih di Ruang Pasir Padi, Kantor Gubernur, Senin (27/10/2025).
Menurut Gubernur Hidayat, model kemitraan ini diharapkan bisa menghapus konflik antara PT Timah dan masyarakat penambang, serta menghadirkan iklim pertambangan yang tertib dan berkeadilan.
“Alhamdulillah, hari ini ada 163 koperasi yang mewakili Babel untuk bekerja sama. Tinggal kita buat legalitasnya agar semua pihak terlindungi,” ujarnya.
Gubernur Hidayat juga memastikan seluruh perizinan akan dibenahi, mulai dari IUP penambangan, hingga surat jasa usaha pertambangan. Gubernur Hidayat juga menegaskan, proses tersebut dilakukan tanpa pungutan biaya.
“Semua izin akan diperbaiki dan dipermudah. Tidak ada biaya apa pun,” tegasnya.
Dengan harga timah yang saat ini mencapai Rp100.000 per kilogram, Gubernur Hidayat optimistis, kolaborasi tersebut akan memberikan dampak ekonomi langsung bagi masyarakat desa di Babel.
“Kerja sama ini bukan hanya soal tambang, tapi juga kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kita ingin tidak ada lagi yang dirugikan, semua harus berjalan baik dan transparan,” tutupnya. (Yuko)
