KARIMUN, PERKARANEWS.COM — PT Timah Tbk menunjukkan komitmennya dalam mendorong penguatan ekonomi kerakyatan dengan meningkatkan kapasitas para pengurus koperasi Marah Putih di Kabupaten Karimun.
Berkolaborasi dengan Dinas Koperasi Usaha Mikro, Perdagangan, dan ESDM Kabupaten Karimun PT Timah mendukung penyelenggaraan Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) Manajemen Kelembagaan dan Pengembangan Usaha bagi pengurus Koperasi Merah Putih di Kabupaten Karimun.
Bimtek ini yang dibuka oleh Bupati Karimun Iskandarsyah, Kabid ADM PT Timah Tbk Eko Yorifaruza, serta Kepala Dinas Koperasi Usaha Mikro, Perdagangan dan ESDM Kabupaten Karimun Basori berlangsung di Gedung Nilam Sari, Rabu (13/7/2025).
Kegiatn ini menghadirkan narasumber dari Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM RI serta Kejaksaan Negeri Karimun, dengan peserta para pengawas dan pengurus Koperasi Merah Putih dari desa dan kelurahan se-Kabupaten Karimun.
Bupati Karimun Iskandarsyah mengapresiasi dukungan PT Timah yang selaras dengan program pemerintah dalam memperkuat koperasi sebagai pilar ekonomi rakyat.
“Koperasi adalah pilar penting ekonomi masyarakat. Melalui bimtek ini, diharapkan pengurus mampu mengelola kelembagaan secara profesional dan mengembangkan usaha yang berdaya saing. Kehadiran BUMN seperti PT Timah juga menjadi bagian dari dukungan terhadap program Presiden Prabowo Subianto,” ujarnya.
Kepala Dinas Koperasi Kabupaten Karimun, Basori, menegaskan peran PT Timah selama ini tidak hanya sebatas pembinaan koperasi, tetapi juga pemberdayaan UMKM dan dukungan di berbagai bidang.
“Kolaborasi yang terjalin sudah baik, dan kami berharap sinergi ini dapat terus diperkuat untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku koperasi dan UMKM di daerah,” jelasnya.
Salah satu pengurus Koperasi Merah Putih Kelurahan Pamak, Sobri, mengaku bimtek ini menjadi dorongan positif bagi koperasi untuk berkembang lebih sehat dan mandiri.
“Kehadiran PT Timah yang merupakan bagian dari keuangan negara sangat membantu terselenggaranya kegiatan ini. Kami berharap peran PT Timah semakin besar dalam mendukung pelaksanaan dan penguatan koperasi ke depan,” tuturnya.
Selama dua hari, Bimtek ini akan membekali peserta tentang tata kelola koperasi yang baik, strategi pengembangan usaha, hingga penguatan peran pengawas untuk menjamin transparansi dan akuntabilitas.
Dukungan PT Timah terhadap Koperasi Merah Putih ini sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah membangun ekonomi rakyat yang kokoh dari tingkat desa hingga nasional, sekaligus menjadi bukti nyata kontribusi BUMN dalam memajukan perekonomian masyarakat. (Yuko)
