PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Pemerintah Kota Pangkalpinang menggelar kegiatan pendidikan politik bagi masyarakat dalam rangka menyukseskan Pilkada Ulang 2025. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di ruang pertemuan Bapperida, Kamis (19/6/2025).
Sekda Kota Pangkalpinang, Mie Go, menyampaikan pentingnya menjaga iklim demokrasi yang sehat dan partisipatif menjelang Pilkada serentak. Ia menekankan bahwa kondusivitas daerah harus jadi prioritas bersama.
Terkait target partisipasi pemilih, Mie Go menyebut hal itu menjadi ranah KPU. Namun Pemkot tetap mendukung penuh peningkatan angka partisipasi.
“Kalau kita ya sebanyak-banyaknya. Mungkin ya di atas 80 persen lah ya,” ucapnya.
Selain itu, ia juga menyinggung upaya Pemkot dalam menggali potensi Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD), termasuk dari sektor pajak air tanah. Tahun ini, target PAD ditetapkan sebesar Rp233 miliar.
“Kita mulai dari pendataan. Misalnya ada pajak air tanah, nanti kita maksimalkan,” jelasnya.
Soal pendidikan politik, Mie Go menyoroti pentingnya pembinaan bagi pemilih pemula, terutama pelajar SMA/SMK. Ia berharap ada sinergi antara KPU, Pemprov, dan Pemkot agar sosialisasi berjalan maksimal.
“Generasi muda harus dibimbing, karena keputusan mereka dalam memilih pemimpin akan menentukan masa depan pemerintahan dan masyarakat,” tegasnya.(MJ01)
