Menurut Hadi, label favorit bukanlah satu-satunya tolok ukur kualitas pendidikan. “Saya percaya, semua sekolah punya potensi. Yang penting ada kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan semangat anak untuk belajar,” ucapnya mantap.
Ia mengaku melihat langsung bagaimana lingkungan belajar di SMP Negeri 2 Pemali sangat mendukung perkembangan karakter dan akademik siswa. Dedikasi para guru dan keaktifan kegiatan sekolah menjadi alasan kuat di balik pilihannya.
“Sekolah ini sebenarnya tak kalah hebat. Banyak siswa berprestasi, hanya saja kurang terekspos media. Kalau diberi dukungan penuh, mereka bisa bersaing hingga tingkat nasional,” tambah Hadi penuh harap.
Keputusan Hadi Firmansyah bukanlah tanpa pertimbangan matang. Ia ingin anaknya tumbuh dalam lingkungan yang seimbang; berprestasi tanpa tekanan berlebihan, belajar dengan gembira, dan berinteraksi dengan teman-teman dari beragam latar belakang.
Lebih lanjut, Hadi mengajak para orang tua untuk tidak terjebak pada gengsi dalam memilih sekolah.
“Pendidikan yang baik itu hasil dari sinergi semua pihak, bukan dari pamor sekolahnya saja,” tegasnya.
Ia juga berharap, pemerintah dan media di masa depan akan lebih banyak memberikan ruang bagi sekolah-sekolah non-favorit yang telah menunjukkan dedikasi dan pencapaian gemilang. Dengan begitu, publik memiliki referensi yang lebih beragam dalam menentukan pendidikan terbaik bagi anak.
