BANGKA BARAT, PERKARANEWS – Polres Bangka Barat melalui Polsek Mentok melaksanakan pengamanan kegiatan ibadah peringatan Kenaikan Isa Almasih di dua gereja di wilayah Kecamatan Mentok, Kamis (29/5/2025).
Kegiatan berlangsung aman, tertib, dan penuh kekhidmatan berkat pengamanan ketat yang dilakukan oleh jajaran kepolisian.
Dua gereja yang menggelar ibadah yakni Gereja GPKRIS Kelurahan Sungai Daeng Mentok dan Gereja GSJA Sinar Kasih Jl. Sekip Pal 2 Mentok, masing-masing dijaga oleh 4 personel kepolisian berseragam lengkap.
Kapolsek Mentok, Iptu Rusdi Yunial, selaku Padal Pengamanan, mengatakan bahwa pengamanan dilakukan sebagai bentuk pelayanan dan perlindungan Polri terhadap seluruh umat beragama dalam menjalankan ibadah.
“Kami memastikan kegiatan ibadah berjalan dengan lancar, aman, dan nyaman. Kehadiran personel kami di lokasi bukan hanya sebagai bentuk pengamanan, tetapi juga untuk memberikan rasa tenang bagi umat yang beribadah,” ujar Iptu Rusdi Yunial di sela kegiatan.
Di Gereja GPKRIS, kegiatan ibadah yang dipimpin oleh GI. Idari Gea dihadiri sekitar 120 jemaat dengan tema “Makna Kenaikan Tuhan Yesus Ke Surga”. Sementara di Gereja GSJA Sinar Kasih, ibadah dipimpin oleh Pdt. Lidia Ninik dengan jumlah jemaat 20 orang, mengangkat tema “Berguna Kalau Aku Meninggalkan Kalian Semua”.
Kegiatan yang dimulai pukul 10.00 WIB dan berakhir pukul 11.30 WIB tersebut berjalan lancar tanpa gangguan berarti.
Kapolres Bangka Barat, AKBP Pradana Aditya Nugraha, S.H., S.I.K., melalui PS. Kasi Humas Polres Bangka Barat, Iptu Yos Sudarso, turut memberikan apresiasi terhadap kinerja personel di lapangan.
“Pengamanan tempat ibadah merupakan komitmen kami dalam menjaga kerukunan umat beragama. Terima kasih kepada seluruh personel yang telah menjalankan tugas dengan baik dan humanis. Polri hadir untuk memastikan bahwa setiap warga negara dapat beribadah dengan aman dan damai,” tegas Iptu Yos Sudarso mewakili Kapolres.
Polres Bangka Barat menegaskan akan terus memperkuat sinergi dengan tokoh agama dan masyarakat demi menciptakan situasi kamtibmas yang kondusif, terutama dalam setiap momen keagamaan. (Yuko)
