PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – PT Timah Tbk secara konsisten mendukung pengembangan dan peningkatan kapasitas pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di wilayah operasionalnya melalui program Pendanaan Usaha Mikro Kecil (PUMK). Program yang telah berjalan sejak tahun 2000 ini telah dirasakan manfaatnya oleh lebih dari 9.000 pelaku UMKM di berbagai provinsi di Indonesia.
Pada tahun 2024, PT Timah mengalokasikan dana PUMK sebesar Rp10 miliar untuk 194 pelaku UMKM. Dukungan permodalan ini bertujuan untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal, membuka lapangan pekerjaan, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di sekitar wilayah operasional perusahaan.
“UMKM merupakan tulang punggung perekonomian daerah. Melalui program ini, perusahaan ingin membantu para UMKM naik kelas dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Dengan begitu, dampak positifnya akan dirasakan lebih luas oleh masyarakat,” ujar Departement Head Corporate Communication PT Timah, Anggi Siahaan.
Selain dukungan permodalan, PT Timah juga secara rutin mengadakan pelatihan dan workshop bagi para pelaku UMKM. Pelatihan ini mencakup manajemen keuangan dan digital marketing untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM.
PT Timah juga berperan aktif dalam memfasilitasi promosi produk UMKM dengan mengikutsertakan mereka dalam berbagai pameran lokal maupun nasional. Perusahaan juga mendorong para mitra binaan untuk memanfaatkan platform digital dalam memasarkan produk mereka.
Dari sisi promosi dan pemasaran, PT Timah juga memfasilitasi mitra binaan untuk memasarkan produk mereka di galeri yang disediakan, seperti di TINS Gallery dan Rumah BUMN Belitung.
Program ini sejalan dengan upaya PT Timah dalam mendukung Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya dalam mengurangi kesenjangan ekonomi dan memperkuat inklusi finansial.
