Ratusan Mahasiswa UBB Gelar Unjuk Rasa di Gedung DPRD Babel Tuntut Prioritaskan Pendidikan

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM-Ratusan mahasiswa Universitas Bangka Belitung (UBB) menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di depan Kantor DPRD Provinsi Bangka Belitung pada Selasa (18/2/2025). Aksi ini merupakan buntut dari efisiensi anggaran di sektor pendidikan dan beberapa keputusan lain yang dinilai memberatkan masyarakat.

Aksi unjuk rasa ini tidak hanya terjadi di Bangka Belitung. Di berbagai daerah, termasuk di tingkat nasional, mahasiswa juga melakukan aksi serupa. Ilham Habibi, Gubernur Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) UBB, menjelaskan bahwa aksi ini menyoroti pemotongan anggaran di sektor pendidikan sebesar 39%. Menurutnya, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia tidak memprioritaskan pendidikan.

“Di negara-negara lain, pendidikan menjadi prioritas utama. Namun, di masa kepemimpinan Presiden Prabowo Subianto dan Wakil Presiden Gibran Rakabuming Raka, pendidikan dan kesehatan hanya menjadi sektor prioritas pendukung,” ujarnya.

Ilham menambahkan, selain menyuarakan tuntutan terkait isu nasional dan meminta pencabutan Instruksi Presiden (Inpres) Nomor 1 Tahun 2025, mahasiswa juga meminta presiden untuk mengevaluasi kinerja Kabinet Indonesia Maju. Mereka menilai masyarakat lebih membutuhkan pendidikan gratis daripada makan bergizi gratis.

“Selain mengangkat isu nasional, kami juga ingin mengawal kasus kematian Aldo yang hingga saat ini belum ada kejelasan dari pihak rumah sakit,” tambahnya.

Tujuh tuntutan yang disampaikan oleh mahasiswa pada hari ini meliputi isu nasional dan pengawalan kasus kematian Aldo.

Tuntutan Mahasiswa
* Prioritaskan Pendidikan:
   * Jadikan pendidikan dan kesehatan sebagai prioritas utama.
  * Evaluasi kembali alokasi anggaran Kementerian Keuangan.
   * Desak pemerintah untuk mencabut Inpres Nomor 1 Tahun 2025 terkait efisiensi anggaran, khususnya di bidang pendidikan.
   * Tolak rencana perubahan RUU Minerba Nomor 4 Tahun 2009 terkait pemberian akses perguruan tinggi untuk mengelola tambang.
   * Berikan hak-hak dosen dan tenaga pendidik ASN, terutama tunjangan kinerja (tukin) yang masih belum dibayarkan.
* Tolak Peran Ganda TNI/Polri:
   * Tolak peran ganda TNI/Polri yang mengarah pada dwifungsi TNI/Polri.
* Cabut RUU dan UU Bermasalah:
   * Cabut seluruh RUU dan UU yang bermasalah.
* Kasus Aldo:
   * Kawal kasus kematian Aldo hingga tuntas dan transparan.(Yuko)
