“Aktivitas Penambangan Timah Ilegal di Kampung Tanah Hongkong Resahkan Warga, Diduga Ada Oknum Beking“
BANGKA,PERKARANEWS.COM– Aktivitas penambangan timah ilegal di Kampung Tanah Hongkong, Kecamatan Sungailiat, Kabupaten Bangka semakin meresahkan warga. Para penambang ilegal ini beroperasi tanpa mengenal waktu dan tempat, bahkan merambah ke area dekat pemukiman warga. Mereka juga tidak mengindahkan dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan.
Para penambang ilegal ini terkesan kebal hukum, meskipun sudah sering ditertibkan oleh aparat penegak hukum (APH). Menurut sumber yang dapat dipercaya, aktivitas ilegal ini diduga melibatkan oknum anggota TNI dari Korem dengan inisial (A) atau nama panggilan (BLE). Oknum tersebut diduga menjadi beking bagi para penambang.
“Kalingnya saja ibarat juga merestui asal ada kompensasi untuk sebagian warga atau istilahnya cantingan gitu, tapi tidak semua warga dapat,” tutur narasumber yang tidak ingin disebutkan namanya.
“Lebih mirisnya lagi yang membuat para penambang berani bekerja jelas ada yang membackup mereka, menurut informasi ada oknum anggota TNI dari Korem berinisial (A) atau nama panggilannya (BLE),” tambah narasumber tersebut.
Berdasarkan investigasi di lapangan, terlihat beberapa unit ponton gearbok beroperasi di belakang rumah warga. Selain merusak lingkungan, aktivitas ini juga menimbulkan kebisingan yang mengganggu waktu istirahat warga.
Warga juga mengungkapkan bahwa Kaling setempat telah menyetujui aktivitas penambangan timah ilegal ini dengan imbalan kompensasi. Aktivitas penambangan ini biasanya dimulai pada pukul 20.00 WIB hingga 03.00-04.00 dini hari.
