Mereka menilai bahwa Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) tidak menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik dalam kasus korupsi tata kelola timah yang merugikan negara hingga Rp300 triliun. Kamis,(2/1)
Rencana aksi unjuk rasa besar-besaran pun disuarakan oleh kelompok ini. Dikonfirmasi oleh koordinator aksi, M. Nasir, aksi akan digelar pada Senin, 6 Januari 2025, di depan kantor BPKP Babel. Diperkirakan sekitar 100 orang akan turun ke jalan untuk menyampaikan aspirasinya.
“Kami merasa BPKP telah melukai masyarakat Babel dengan kesaksiannya dalam persidangan.Padahal, kasus korupsi ini telah membuat perekonomian masyarakat hancur,” tegas Nasir.
Peduli Babel mendesak BPKP untuk mengungkapkan kebenaran dan memberikan keadilan atas kasus ini.
“Kami juga meminta agar pihak berwajib memberikan perlindungan kepada para terdakwa yang dinilai telah memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perekonomian daerah,”harapnya.(Yuko)
