20 Tahun Jalankan Usaha Toko Sembako, Jumirah Bersyukur Usahanya Bisa Maju Setelah Jadi Mitra Binaan PT Timah Tbk

SELAT PANJANG,PERKARANEWS – Usaha toko sembako Jumirah semakin berkembang setelah menjadi mitra binaan PT Timah Tbk melalui Program Pendanaan Usaha Mikro Kecil (PUMK).

Warga Jalan Kencana Selat Panjang Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti ini menceritakan, semula dirinya hanya membuka usaha kecil-kecilan di rumah yang menjual kebutuhan pokok untuk memudahkan warga sekitar agar bisa belanja lebih dekat.

“Awalnya saya buka kedai sembako ini karena mau membantu ekonomi keluarga, suami saya pekerja harian lepas yang penghasilannya tidak menentu, sedangkan kebutuhan keluarga sehari-hari makin banyak,” katanya.

Ia besyukur, kala itu meski usaha sembakonya masih kecil cukup membantu mereka untuk memenuhi kebuthan sehari-hari. Sehingga ia berpikir untuk mengembangkan usahanya ini.

Setelah hampir 20 tahun dirinya berjualan sembako, usahanya tak berkembang signifikan karena keterbatasan modal. Karena penghasilan dari toko digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari.

“Pembeli yang belanja di tempat saya sudah cukup banyak dan saya sering keteteran dalam memenuhi permintaan dan juga kebutuhan mereka karena kurangnya modal usaha,” terang Jumirah.

Setelah mengikuti sosialisasi program PUMK PT Timah Tbk dirinya berniat untuk kembali mengembangkan usahanya melalui pinjaman modal.

“Setelah dapat informasi itu saya merasa tertari dengan program PUMK PT Timah Tbk, karena banyak kemudahan. Akhirnyasaya putuskan untuk memanfaatkan program ini dan syukur Alhamdulillah benar-benar membantu usaha saya,” sebutnya.

Setelah menerima pinjaman modal, usahanya mengalami pengajuan signifikan jumlah barang yang dijual semakin banyak, sehingga dirinya bisa melayani lebih banyak konsumen.

“Alhamdulillah usaha saya makin berkembang karena mampu menyediakan kebutuhan yang diinginkan oleh konsumen saya. Dengan modal dari PT Timah saya stok barang dagangan sehingga kedai ini ramai pembeli. Karena barang yang mereka butuhkan itu ada,” ceritanya.

Ia berharap, kedepannya program PUMK PT Timah Tbk dapat terus berlanjut karena dirinya telah merasakan langsung manfaat dari program ini untuk mengembangkan usahanya.

“Kami pelaku usaha kecil merasa terbantu dengan adanya program PUMK dari PT Timah Tbk. Semoga program ini dapat terus berlanjut untuk membantu masyarakat pelaku usaha kecil agar bisa terus mengembangkan usaha dan juga dapat memiliki daya saing,” sebutnya. (Yuko)
