PANGKALPINANG, PERKARANEWS.COM – Anggota DPRD Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Monica Haprinda, S.IP, M.Si, melaksanakan kegiatan reses masa sidang III tahun sidang I di SMA Negeri 4 Pangkalpinang, Jumat (19/9/2025) pukul 09.00 WIB. Reses ini dihadiri perwakilan Biro Kesra Babel, Dinas Pendidikan Babel, Kepala Sekolah, Komite, guru, serta siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 4 Pangkalpinang.

 

Dalam sambutannya, Monica Haprinda menyampaikan terima kasih kepada pihak sekolah yang telah menyambut baik pelaksanaan reses. Ia menegaskan meskipun berada di Komisi I DPRD yang membidangi pemerintahan dan keamanan, dirinya ingin mendengar langsung aspirasi dari pelajar dan tenaga pendidik.

“Biasanya sekolah dikunjungi oleh anggota dewan dari Komisi IV yang membidangi pendidikan. Namun kali ini saya ingin mendengar langsung aspirasi dari adik-adik dan para guru. Karena SMA merupakan kewenangan provinsi, maka penting bagi kami memperjuangkan masukan yang ada di lapangan,” ujar Monica.

 

Monica juga mengingatkan siswa kelas XII untuk memanfaatkan berbagai informasi terkait program beasiswa yang disampaikan oleh Biro Kesra. Ia menekankan bahwa tidak semua sekolah mendapat kesempatan informasi langsung dari pemerintah provinsi, sehingga hal ini menjadi peluang penting bagi para siswa.

 

Perwakilan Cabang Dinas Wilayah I Dinas Pendidikan Babel, Wahyudi Irawan, memberikan arahan bahwa pendidikan merupakan investasi jangka panjang yang harus dilandasi olah otak, olah rasa, dan olahraga, agar lahir generasi berkarakter.

 

Ia menekankan pentingnya mendidik anak dengan hati, tegas namun tidak kejam. Wahyudi juga menyoroti persoalan penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB) di Pangkalpinang, di mana sebagian besar calon siswa lebih memilih sekolah negeri meski daya tampung SMA/SMK negeri dan swasta sebenarnya mencukupi.

 

Sementara itu, perwakilan Biro Kesra Babel menyampaikan informasi terkait berbagai bentuk bantuan sosial, termasuk bantuan pendidikan, kesehatan, serta dukungan pembangunan rumah ibadah, sebagai upaya pemerintah provinsi meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

 

Kegiatan reses ditutup dengan sesi dialog interaktif, di mana para guru dan siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk menyampaikan aspirasi, masukan, serta berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi di lingkungan sekolah.

 

Semua aspirasi yang dihimpun akan dicatat dan menjadi bahan tindak lanjut DPRD Provinsi Babel, baik melalui rapat lintas komisi maupun koordinasi dengan instansi terkait, agar dapat direalisasikan secara optimal. (Yuko)
