Kali ini, Pemerintah Provinsi Bangka Belitung (Babel) secara tegas menyatakan kesiapannya untuk menempuh jalur hukum demi merebut kembali Pulau Tujuh yang saat ini berada di bawah administrasi Provinsi Kepulauan Riau (Kepri). Sebuah langkah berani yang diprediksi akan menjadi sorotan nasional. Selasa,(17/6)

Polemik ini bermula dari sejarah pemekaran Provinsi Bangka Belitung. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2000, wilayah Pekajang, termasuk Pulau Tujuh yang sebelumnya adalah bagian dari Sumatera Selatan, seharusnya secara otomatis masuk dalam cakupan wilayah administratif Babel.

Namun, fakta di lapangan berkata lain. Pada tahun 2021, Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) justru menetapkan Pulau Tujuh, yang terletak di utara Pulau Bangka, sebagai bagian dari wilayah Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.

Menyikapi keputusan Kemendagri yang kontroversial ini, Gubernur Babel, Hidayat Arsani, tidak tinggal diam. Ia menegaskan bahwa Pemerintah Provinsi Bangka Belitung saat ini tengah mengkaji secara mendalam dan akan segera melayangkan gugatan ke Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK). Tujuannya jelas mengembalikan Pulau Tujuh ke pangkuan Bangka Belitung.

“Soalnya kita mau anggaran dulu, karena kita salah anggaran tidak ada, dan kita akan perjuangkan, kita akan buka PMK nanti, masalah Pulau Tujuh kembali ke Provinsi Bangka Belitung,” tegas Gubernur Hidayat Arsani, menggarisbawahi komitmen serius Pemprov Babel.

Ia juga menyinggung mengenai revisi undang-undang terkait, yang dulu menjadi kewenangan Presiden, namun kini sudah berada di bawah Mahkamah Konstitusi.

“Kita lapor MK, karena sekarang sudah ada mahkamah konstitusi yang mengerjakan undang-undang ini,” lanjutnya.

Hidayat Arsani menekankan bahwa pihaknya tidak ingin sengketa ini berujung pada keributan seperti yang pernah terjadi di daerah lain.

“Jadi kita tidak mau ribut seperti Aceh, kita selesaikan secara hukum, karena Kepri mengatakan punya. Bangka Belitung mengakui punyanya, jadi nanti larinya ke hakim,” pungkasnya.

Langkah hukum yang akan ditempuh Babel ini diharapkan bisa memberikan kepastian hukum atas status Pulau Tujuh, sekaligus memastikan bahwa hak-hak administratif dan kedaulatan wilayah berdasarkan undang-undang pemekaran dapat ditegakkan.Akankah gugatan ini mampu mengembalikan Pulau Tujuh ke Babel.
