PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS ā Fakultas Hukum Universitas Pertiba (FH UNIPER) Pangkalpinang mencatat sejarah baru di bidang akademik. Pihak fakultas menggelar ujian terbuka komprehensif dan skripsi untuk pertama kalinya sepanjang sejarah pendiriannya.
Langkah berani ini bertujuan untuk mempertegas komitmen transformasi Fakultas Hukum UNIPER, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas lulusan serta mendorong atmosfer akademik yang berkapasitas dan lebih baik.
Dekan Fakultas Hukum UNIPER, Dr. Syafri Hariansah, S.H., M.H., menyampaikan, langkah-langkah progresif yang diambil ini sebagai bentuk respon sekaligus menjawab kritik dan stigma kurang baik terhadap UNIPER, serta tantangan institusi pendidikan dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang baik.
“Kami berkomitmen untuk menjadikan Fakultas Hukum UNIPER sebagai lembaga pendidikan hukum yang lebih baik dan bertanggung jawab,” ungkapnya kepada wartawan Rabu (31/1/2024).
“Karena itu hari ini, civitas akademika Fakultas Hukum UNIPER menyaksikan sejarah baru dengan pelaksanaan sidang terbuka yang mirip dengan sidang doktoral. Dari prosesi ini terlihat bahwa kualitas lulusan FH UNIPER memiliki kemampuan akademis yang sangat baik, khususnya dari sisi teoritikal maupun penerapan praktik-praktik hukum. Alhmdulillah 100% karya sendiri dan 90% tingkat plagiasi dibawah 20%,” papar Syafri Hariansah.
Sidang dengan kegiatan ujian skripsi dan komprehensif ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 hari terhitung Senin 29 Januari 2024 dan berakhir Rabu tanggal 31 Januari 2024 yang ditutup dengan sidang terbuka.
“Ada penguji eksternal yang diakui kepakarannya untuk langsung menguji mahasiswa. Suasana akademiknya sangat baik. Alhamdulilah untuk gelombang 1 sebanyak 38 Mahasiswa sudah melaksanakan ujian ini,” imbuhnya.
Tampak hadir tim penguji internal yang terdiri dari Dr. Syafri Hariansah, S.H., M.H, Dr. Muhamad Adystia Sunggara, S.H., M.H, M.Kn, Dr. H. Yandi S.H., M.H., Dr. Junaidi Abdilah S.H., M.H., dan Dr. Abdul Rasyid Saliman S.H., M.M. Sedangkan penguji eksternal berasal dari praktisi yang diakui kepakaranya yakni Dr. Zaidan, S.H., S.Ag., M.Hum., (Pakar dan Praktisi Hukum Pidana), Kety Astari., S.S., S.H., M.Kn (pakar hukum bisnis dan notaris), serta Rektor UNIPER sekaligus pakar perpajakan Dr (c) Suhardi., S.E., M.Sc.,Ak.CA yang juga menjadi Ketua Tim Penguji.
Rektor UNIPER dalam keterangan tertulisnya mengapresiasi langkah berani dan cerdas dari Fakultas Hukum. Ia berharap akan ada hal-hal baru yang berdampak baik bagi civitas akademika FH UNIPER.
“Kegiatan hari ini (kemarin-red) menjadi jawaban bahwa transformasi di FH sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik,” ujarnya.
Suhardi menekankan pentingnya memberi kesempatan kepada mahasiswa dalam mengelaborasi kemampuan, khususnya menulis, menyusun argumentasi, serta kemampuan public speaking yang baik. “Hari ini saya sepenuhnya yakin FH UNIPER sudah bertransformasi menjadi institusi pendidikan hukum yang terpercaya dan terbaik di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung,” tutupnya.
