Diawali kunjungan pada bulan Juni dan Juli 2022, penerbitan Buku Yogyakarta-Bangka Menegakkan Kedaulatan Negara 1948-1949 dan puncaknya diadakan peringatan Hari Penegakan Kedaulatan Negara pada 1 Maret 2023 nanti dan disiarkan secara langsung dari 3 Provinsi yakni DIY, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan Sumatra Barat.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut akan ada treatrikal, talkshow dan launching buku. Khusus di provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung akan dipusatkan di Museum Timah Indonesia Pangkalpinang.
Persiapan telah dilakukan tim treatrikal dengan pemain 40 seniman dan akan menampilkan 7 adegan dalam 2 babak. Babak pertama berdurasi 10 menit akan menampilk kedatangan Hatta, kerangkeng pesanggrahan Menumbing dan kedatangan Sukarno.
Antara babak 1 dan 2 akan disela tim treatrikal Yogyakarta untuk menampilkan Serangan Umum 1 Maret 1949. Babak kedua akan menampilkan Bangka pusat Diplomasi, Pekik Merdeka di Tanah Bangka, Perpisahan dan kembalinya para pemimpin ke Yogyakarta.
Talkshow sejarah pengasingan ini akan menghadirkan 2 pembicara yakni Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Kebudayaan dan Kepemudaan Olahraga Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan
Ketua MSI Cabang Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Dato’ Akhmad Elvian DPMP. Rangkaian kegiatan ini ditutup dengan launching buku berjudul Yogyakarta-Bangka Menegakkan Kedaulatan Negara 1948-1949 karya 2 sejarawan Bangka Belitung Akhmad Elvian dan Ali Usman.
Kegiatan ini akan diikuti oleh 40 seniman dan 60 undangan yang sebagian besar berasal dari guru sejarah SMA/SMK sekota Pangkalpinang. Kita masih berharap ada tambahan peserta dari siswa-siswi SMA/SMK.
