“Ketua dan sekretaris RT dan RW harus memiliki tanggung jawab dan tugas, karena mereka diberikan honor dari dana APBD. Ini penting untuk diketahui masyarakat tentang bagaimana peran RT dan RW,” ujar Prof Udin.
Ia juga mendorong Ketua dan Sekretaris RT dan RW memiliki kompetensi pemahaman terhadap tugas dan tanggung jawabnya, sehingga pelaksanaan program pemerintah di level atas dapat tersampaikan dengan baik dan tepat sasaran.
“Untuk itu diperlukan RT dan RW yang punya kompeten, contohnya dalam hal penyaluran bantuan, ini disebarkan berdasarkan pendataan dari tingkat RT. Peran RT dan RW sangat vital untuk mrnyampaikan informasi terhadap program pemerintah,” pungkasnya. (Yuko)
