Namun, operasi besar-besaran yang melibatkan helikopter Super Puma ini mengirimkan sinyal kuat bahwa Pemerintah, melalui Satgas PKH, serius dan berkomitmen penuh untuk menertibkan seluruh aktivitas penambangan tanpa Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) yang merusak lingkungan di Bangka Belitung.
