PANGKALPINANG, PERKARANEWS.COM – BPJS Ketenagakerjaan menganugrahkan penghargaan kepada sejumlah perangkat daerah dan pelaku usaha, sebagai bentuk apresiasi pemerintah pusat yang telah mendukung penuh implementasi program jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan. Penghargaan tersebut langsung diserahkan oleh Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Hidayat Arsani di Ruang Pasir Padi, Kantor Gubernur Babel, Rabu(30/7/2025).
“Kami dari Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Babel selalu siaga dengan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan maupun BPJS Kesehatan, di mana kami sudah menerima laporan bahwa ada 3 kabupaten penerima penghargaan yaitu Kabupaten Bangka, Bangka Barat dan Belitung Timur, ada lagi siswa-siswa yang diberi BPJS,” jelasnya.
Menurut Gubernur Hidayat, tahun depan akan membuat program untuk mahasiswa dan siswa yang tidak mampu. Dilanjutkannya, nelayan- nelayan di Babel juga masih ada yang belum memiliki BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
“BPJS ketenagakerjaan ini adalah penyelamat untuk kemanusiaan. Jadi BPJS ketenagakerjaan harus hadir di tengah masyarakat,” ungkapnya.
Ia meminta agar tiap kepala daerah kabupaten/kota harus mendata setiap pekerja, baik nelayan, pelaku UMKM atau setiap orang yang belum memiliki BPJS ketenagakerjaan tanpa terkecuali.
Diketahui berdasarkan data coverage, tenaga kerja yang terlindungi program jaminan sosial ketenaga kerjaan di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung bertambah dari tahun kemarin sebesar 31,42 % menjadi 42%.
Gubernur Hidayat terus menghimbau agar seluruh pemerintah daerah dan pemangku kepentingan untuk meningkatkam angka coverage tersebut.
Dalam acara Paritrana Award Tahun 2024, terdapat 6 kategori badan usaha dan 2 kategori pemerintah sebagai pemenang penghargaan, di mana pemenangnya dari para pelaku usaha UMKM, perangkat desa, BUMN serta pemerintah kabupaten/kota yang ada di Provinsi Kepulauan Babel. (Yuko)
