PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Untuk memberikan edukasi tentang bahaya api dan kebakaran bagi anak usia dini, PT Timah melalui Divisi HSSE dan Sustainability menggelar kegiatan edukatif dengan tajuk “Fire Fighter Go To School” di TK Kutilang I Pangkalpinang, Senin (16/6/2025).

Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman dasar kepada anak-anak mengenai pentingnya keselamatan diri serta langkah untuk menghadapi potensi kebakaran sedari dini.

Para siswa TK Kutilang I Pangkalpinang antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini sejak awal hingga hingga sesi praktik berlangsung. Mereka tampak semangat mengikuti setiap tahapan, mulai dari mendengarkan penjelasan, menjawab pertanyaan, hingga mencoba menyemprotkan air menggunakan selang dari Mobil Pemadam Kebakaran.

Fokus dari Fire Fighter Go To School ini adalah memberi edukasi kepada anak-anak mengenai bahaya api dan kebakaran, dan juga mengenalkan bagaimana cara yang baik untuk menyelamatkan diri pada saat terjadi kebakaran sejak dini.

“Tujuan diselenggarakannya kegiatan ini untuk mengenalkan anak-anak usia dini tentang bahaya api dan kebakaran, mengenalkan kepada mereka langkah-langkah seperti apa yang harus diambil ketika terjadi kebakaran, serta cara mengevakuasi diri saat terjadi kebakaran,” ungkapnya.

Lolita juga menyampaikan harapannya terkait dengan kegiatan Fire Fighter Go To School yang berlangsung di TK Kutilang I Pangkalpinang.

“Kami berharap dengan terlaksananya kegiatan ini, anak-anak menjadi lebih paham dengan bahaya api dan kebakaran, dan anak-anak menjadi paham langkah seperti apa yang harus dilakukan saat akan evakuasi diri jika terjadi kebakaran,” harapnya.

PT Timah melalui Divisi HSSE dan Sustainability berkomitmen untuk terus menjalankan program edukatif serupa di berbagai sekolah, terutama di wilayah operasional perusahaan.
