JAKARTA, PERKARANEWS – Vox Point Indonesia menggelar Dialog Antaragama bertema “The Servant Leadership of Pope Francis” di Masjid Istiqlal, Rabu (28/5). Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia, Prof. Dr. KH Nasaruddin Umar, MA, hadir mendoakan forum dialog antar agama ini sekaligus menjadi keynote speaker.
“Kepemimpinan Paus Fransiskus itu, menurut saya, adalah the real servant leadership, kepemimpinan pelayan yang sejati. Paus bukan sekadar pemimpin umat Katolik. Ia adalah figur lintas batas yang melampaui doktrin, melintasi tradisi, dan mengakar pada satu nilai universal, kasih,” ujar Menag Nasaruddin Umar.
Menag Nasaruddin juga mengenang sebuah momen yang ia sebut sebagai pertemuan spiritual, perjumpaannya dengan Paus Fransiskus. Tanpa menjelaskan secara detil, ia menggambarkan pertemuan itu sebagai pengalaman batin yang mendalam, dimana cinta kasih tidak mengenal nama agama, dan penghormatan tidak memerlukan seragam keyakinan.
Menurut Nasaruddin, orang baik itu tidak pernah mati. “Kalau dalam kitab suci kami itu ada. Janganlah kalian mengira orang yang telah mengorbankan egonya dan subjektifitasnya sudah mati, melainkan dia tetap hidup. Di mata Tuhan selalu mendapatkan rizki. Rizki juga bukan hanya untuk yang hidup tapi juga bagi yang sudah wafat. Secara biologis dia (Paus Francis) memang sudah wafat tapi dalam roh spiritual masih hidup di dalam kita,” ungkap Nasaruddin yang juga merupakan Imam Besar Masjid Istiqlal sejak 2016 sampai sekarang.
Nasaruddin juga mengutip pernyataan Paus terkait Pembangunan tembok di Amerika Serikat untuk kaum imigran. Paus berkata, jangan bangun tembok, karena tembok itu simbol ketidakmanusiawian. “Di Istiqlal, kita membangun terowongan, jalan penghubung,” ungkap Nasaruddin.
Dalam pemaparannya, Menag juga menuturkan tentang keteladanan Paus Francis. “Toleransi itu bukan dibicarakan tapi dipraktekan,” tegasnya.
Toleransi yang sejati, menurutnya, itu ada ikatan cinta yang sangat dalam. “Kita sama-sama NKRI dan punya agama. Kita ada ukhuwah tarbiyah. Bahkan kita sama-sama mengalami dijajah bangsa asing, sama-sama menderita. Itu menjadi tali pengikat untuk mencintai satu sama lain. Kami di Kementerian Agama mengembangkan kurikulum cinta. Hemat saya jagan diindoktrinasi anak-anak kita sebuah perbedaan,” paparnya.
“Jadikan hati kita seperti samudra, agar sekotor apapun yang masuk tidak akan mengotori samudra. Kalau kita suka pemarah itu tanda-tanda neraka dalam hidup kita. Ada ungkapan air susu dibayar air susu itu sudah biasa, atau air susu dibalas air tuba pun sudah biasa. Tapi air tuba dibayar air susu itu yang berat,” tuturnya.
Ketua Konferensi Waligereja Indonesia (KWI) saat ini adalah Mgr. Antonius Subianto Bunjamin, OSC yang hadir, turut pula mengawali pemaparannya sebagai pengantar acara dialog antar agama yang digagas Vox Poin dan Forum Masyarakat Indonesia Emas. (Yuko)
